Default Spoiler: Rally Argentina

If you've been getting the SWRT Media bulletins, you know Petter and Chris had been battling for second place for the last three days:

Joy and heartbreak for SWRT in ruthless Argentine finale

Chris Atkinson and Stéphane Prévot finished Rally Argentina in second position overall, making it three out of four podiums from the 2008 season. Team-mates Petter Solberg and Phil Mills were however dealt a cruel blow, being forced into retirement from second position with only two stages to go after complete electrical failure.

I've been preaching the wonders of Chris Atkinson for the last two seasons people. He is the next great. He consistently beats the veterans in head to head special stage battles and has been posting tons of stage wins for two years, but the car has held him back when it comes to consistency. Not so this year with 3/4 Podium finishes. I knew I had to share this with the board because everybody knows how the last two seasons went AKA . Now you see why Atky got a contract extension & why Pons got the boot.

Good to hear. Hopefully when they switch to the new car, the car wont be able to hold back either driver.

A bit late on seeing this thread - when are they debuting the new car? I saw Petter's finish (or lack of) in Argentina - what a bummer. Hoping the new car will regain Subaru some of their old rally glory. Also impressed with Atkinson.

I believe they're testing it out now. The PWRC car has been running since the last race so the WRC car can't be too far behind. I was reading something somewhere but i believe it might be after Jordan for the debut, Sardegna or Turkey is my bet.

Atkins is really doing well. He's def. going to be great we'll see what he can do with the new car.

My advice is to get bit torrent (its free) and then DL from this site: Rally Torrents : Your SOURCE for WRC video coverage

He keeps it up to date and its great coverage!!!
