Default 2018 WRX/STI Order thread? Where you ordering from?

Just curious when orders will be placed and where you're ordering from?

Cool Re: 2018 WRX/STI Order thread? Where you ordering from?

I'm also impatiently waiting to order my first STI.. I was going to jump on the 2017, but figured I might as well wait for the refresh and grab that one.

The only info I've been able to find is that the 2018 model will be available in spring. I wonder if that means available to order or in show rooms. My current lease ends in July and I dont want to get a 2017 if the 2018's will be available by then.

2017 is the last year to get stock brake rotors that don't need replacing for track duty.

I personally dont have plans to track my car. It will be my daily driver, so I'll take the improved interior any day.

So you'll have to replace the 18 rotors if you want to track them?

He's pointing out the 2018 STI has cross drilled rotors, which are basically for looks, and can fail under extreme and repeated prolonged braking (such as at a track).

Would be nice for Tom to email me back a quote. Clint was much better at replying back to any questions I had.
