Static,

Looked at your website and I was wondering one thing. Do you actually have a store front shop? The reason I am asking is I live in Mississippi and I might be coming through the Birmingham area and just wanted to drop by and get your opinions on what mods I should start with, and most likely make a purchase. I have already purchased your grounding kit, which I need to quit putting off and just get it installed. Was really intriqued with your header group buy.

Just Wondering

Off topic from your post, but I was wondering did you purchase your STi in Mississippi?

I know, strange question. But the reason I ask is because I am looking for a STi in surrounding states and I emailed Paul Moak Subaru about one but they have not responded. I assume that is the same dealer that you purchased yours from. Were you able to get a good deal on the car, say under MSRP or something similar?

By the way I think StaticX lives in Huntsville not Birmingham.

Why would you want to buy in another state? Static does live in the huntsville area- I dont think he has a shop, but does the work just because he's an STI enthusiast. I asked him before for some ideas for my other cars too. cool dude.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. I have a "workshop" where I can store like 15 cars (lol if it was anywhat clean) ... I dont have all the pro tools and whatnot, but I do have a pretty good set. Yes I am NOT a professional shop, just a guy with some tools and space. I live in huntsville, AL and if you'd want to stop by that'd be great! (or just meet up on your down there). If you're going down to Bham, AL next weekend, I should be there as I am goin to the Reliant K concert wooo. Also if you want to know about the headers... THEY ARE GREAT. Not only do the add some hp and monster torque, but they help prevent knock (VERY GOOD), smooth out your torque curve, and many other great things. Very nice stuff! If you have any questions feel free to email me: staticx313@netzero.com , AIM me: boostin STi, or even call me: 256-508-9974.

Yea, Paul Moak is a pretty good group of guys and no they would not budge on the price. I paid 32 for mine which I know was probably too high, but another guy was looking at it too and I just couldnt stand the thought of my baby going to someone else.

I would at least call Madison Square Subaru in Huntsville. I worked there until 2 months ago. They dont like to haggle with STI's because its the only "seller" right now. People in Bama dont know what the hell Subarus are about. Static is one of the few Scoobie dos' around! LOL Talk to Cristian Draghici 256-864-7483. Prepare to have your ear talked off about how great the STI is and about WRC, Solberg, Subaru, etc. Tell him Chris from NASA sent you and shop around a little before you go. They wont budge much, but they did once before. At least the guys there are pretty reputable to deal with. They had a Silver/Silver. But I think they canceled their Feb STI allotment- people arent buying right now and they are stuck with about 60 cars right now. Im getting a mid summer allotment hopefully. Let me know if you talk to him

Sorry just checked- the silver silver is gone. dont know when next one is going to arrive. Maybe end of Feb. from the Mar allotment. or you could custom order one in the color you want.

hey chris!! how you been? Cant wait to see you get an STi this summer . Ya madison square is alright, just all the dang chrysler people are freaking annoying, I doubt I'd use them for parts/service as they seem to be more chrysler then subaru... probably the suby in athens would be a good try as well (for service anyways).
