Default rear wing

here's my honest review of the first kit Robert sent to me.

Quality of Product: 9.5 outta 10 There were a couple of crimps where the wire strands protruded a little far onto the connector ring.
Look of Product: 10 outta 10
Durability: 10 outta 10
Functionality: 10 outta 10
Power Gain: X outta 10 Dunno, the car is in storage
Fix Idle? Yes
Stabilize Idler when turning on electronics? Yes

A couple of install items, bear in mind I did the intstall without the pictures because I didn't print them. I just used the text. These comments will not don't mean as much with the pictures, but might make it more clear to people who don't know much under the hood.

The wires were not labeled and it took a few minutes of laying the wires near the mounting points to figure out which wire went where. If you could get removable wire tags (or even pieces of masking tape) with the wire # on them it would make installation a LOT quicker. Also the one mount is to the AC compressor bracket, not the alternator. That took me about a minute to figure out.

I did not use the block (or is it the head??) mounting point as I couldn't get it loose, didn't want to round it off and was starting to run late for a dinner date. I simply went from the drivers fender to the AC bracket. Also if people still have their stock air boxes they will have to lift the top off to get to the passengers fender grounding point. I still have the stock battery conenctor, which worked OK but I had to run the wire differently than you did. I took pics so you can look at them. I will probably fine tune the wire routing, but I just wanted to get them in and working last night. It was pretty cold in the garage and like I said I was running late.

links to pics. warning they are big

*shrug* my supplier said black/clear and red/clear were much more popular then solid red and black... so that is what they sent me(and stock now). I was confused too, but I dont have another company that produces this nice of wire... so until i can find one, thats what it will have ot be for now

I just twisted mine so the black shows when the hood is open. I also ran the wires a lil more stealthy like underneth everything.

ya i apologize again about that... i have been doin good at putting all the connectors up so that the solid color shows more, but im sorry for the first batch people. I still wanan hear what people think about silver and the s/red. Blue and purple look awsome too. Last 5-6 orders have been blue lol.

No pics of the whole bay. I doubt you'd even notice anything other than the two on the throttle body. The black really blends in, which is what I wanted.

Wow... as for my next set of products... nivek, you were probably right on the money!! Those do-luck floor supports and such are like freaking ~$500. Yet looks like it'd cost about ~$75 to make! I will definitely be doing some research when i get back from my 3 day vacation wooooo

Got mine. Yes it took a bit longer, but well worth the wait. THe product quality is outstanding!

I have not fitted it yet because like StaticX I am sooo busy...

thank you !! Im glad to hear yet another + praise!

Robert~

Also Im working on the last 4 kits that parts have been received. I just had to take a break, my engineer is out there using the plasma cutter as well for a project of his and the smoke was really getting to me... so I had to take a break. Dont worry, even if i had to stay up til midnight, they will get done. All the new parts have been ordered (for the last X remaining). Also dont forget Thomas, you havent paid yet and cannot receive a kit until you do, and Garcia I cant order your parts until I know you are serious (as you havent responded to my emails).
