IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2003 Trader Rating: (2) | I just finished two complete kits! wooo , the only problems I am having is that the 3M (brand name not size or anything) heat shrink isnt acting right and it getting a little stiffer then normal (ebay deal *sigh* - I figured since it was 3M quality I'd be ok, but its really making me mad as I bought 200ft of the stuff). If this causes a problem I will go out and buy a different brand of heat shrink and ship it to you guys to make sure you are all 100% satisfied. As that is what my main goal is. I will do whatever I can (logically) to make sure you are all 100% happy, as Im not really out to make money at this (heh if i was i'd be charging $100 like everyone else). So please email me personally if you have any problems and I will fix them. Thanks again everyone I hope you enjoy your kits! Robert~ Also after talking to some friends and answering some emails... for htose who want am ore "stealth" approach and dont want the heavy duty power and usage of the 4ga wiring... I will be offering an 8ga kit as well. It probably will not probably give you as good of gains as the 4ga, but it should fix all the basic stuff (choppy idle mainly)... so for those who are just looking for a fix for that or something of the sort and dont want the heavy duty stuff... an 8ga kit is now available for $39 premade and $30 youmade. IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2003 Trader Rating: (2) | hmmm .. this puts me in a bind. I will see what I can do.. my problem is... its 3M , one of the best companies in the world... so I dont know who to go with. *sigh* iw ill come up with something and just resell this junk. Sorry again everyone. Robert~ I am on order for all of your stuff... For now I will go ahead and finish all the kits needed to be finished and will just put heat shrink on as it gets here. Sorry again about this fuss... man ebay really p-s me off sometimes. Thanks nivek-ca... I shouldnt have even thought of just using that junk. Hopefully it will resell. As this stuff is expensive (in 200ft rolls). Robert~ |

IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2003 Trader Rating: (2) | I work, work, work. That table was my dad's old table from when he was my age. I purchased all the supplies with the money I had (which Im trying to make back with these kits). The new heat shrink was shipped so all the kits will be finished this week I hope. As for the rest of the stuff (CNC machining) the guy who is building it has contacts out the wazooo. So ... thats how we have hte materials for that . I cant wait to see what becomes of the machining. ![]() Robert~ |

IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2003 Trader Rating: (2) | the machine could make the ends and then you could take em and bend them. As for the tubes in the middle, just buy them and bend them to shape, weld (which I learned how to do last weekend) to the ends and presto. Then just paint, anondize, or powdercoat or whatever/however you wanna do it and you're done. Stuff like this isnt to far out of reach ![]() Robert~ |
