We acquired a staticx kit from one of your customers who decided to go another route, so do not be surprised when you see it in our list of mods. It is installed, but we did this in conjunction with the lightweight flywheel, so we can't comment directly on the outcome, but maybe a slightly milder idle. Question: When you shift to neutral, do you rpms jump just before the idle position; almost like the ecu is trying to catch the motor from stalling?

That sounds like it's more likely related to the lighter flywheel than the grounding kit IMO.

Ya me to, as I'd have no idea why adding grounds would cause something like that? My car idles VERY low to begin with 400rpms or so, then add a lightweight flywheel in there and maybe its trying to get used to new lack of mass? Someone said they had that happen when they put on the lightweight crank pullley - so maybe that has something similar to do with it? good luck! I hope you like the kit, if you have any problems let me know ASAP.

Also did you get the instructions from the guy?

First we meant lightweight crank pulley. So either way your theory still applies and you are probably right because it only started to occur after that was installed.

... man this is only reason I hate shipping outta country... I've had them hold packages for like a month and get chewed out about it for weeks because the guy doesnt get it and then I dont have it... dangit... Im really sorry this is happening, can you call your post office or something and see if they have any packages for you from Huntsville, AL 35811? or call customs or something?

Rob,

That would be pretty difficult to do without a tracking number. If the package was sent out by a regular mail (rather than trackable / registered / insured airmail), the non-traceable situation would be same whether it was sent within US or to Canada / overseas.

Do you at least know when it was sent out and by what delivery method? I presume it is through USPS, judging from your post office comment above. Was it by an insured trackable airmail, ground or registered... ?

You said you'd look up the tracking number for me. If you could do that, I will call the appropriate delivery agent office. I don't think the customs would typically answer such inquiries. I have had to go through an agent (USPS/CanadaPost or UPS) in few cases when I had to do tracing, and for packages < $100, I was told, they pass through with little or no customs delay.

Anyway, let's start with the sent date and tracking number. Maybe I am over-reacting to a package that was sent out later than expected to begin with. I sent / received various packages by airmails over the holidays, and those 4-5 boxes and cards have been received already in all cases, so I was wondering how come my grounding kit has not arrived yet, considering how it was (supposed to be?) sent out much earlier that my other packages..

Thanks,

-Rich

These things happen at the border sometimes. In 2003 I ordered a 75 lb subwoofer, 4 rims and a book from the States (not at the same time). The sub took 4 days to get here, the rims 8 days and the book 18 days. There is basically no guarantee as to how long an item can take to cross at customs.

?? I will find all the info for you ASAP. I should have posted the tracking #s like normal, but have been VERY VERY busy at work, so I apolgoize. I got off at 11pm tonight and did like 14 hours of work, so Im exhausted and going to sleep. If it was shipped out with the last batch it should be in tomorrow or monday...

Robert~
