UPDATE 1/3/2004, URGENT, FROM TODAY ON, ANY ORDER PLACED WILL NOT COME WITH WIRE 6 AND WILL BYPASS THAT ONE LOCATION. THE LOCATION WAS FOUND TO NOT BE NECESSARY AND CHANGES THIS WHOLE KIT FROM BEING A SIMPLE BOLTON KIT TO A VERY DIFFICULT AND PAIN TO INSTALL. SO FROM NOW ON THE PRICE WILL BE LOWERED $4 AND YOU WILL NOT HAVE WIRE #6. IF YOU HAVE ALREADY ORDERED A KIT AND DO NOT WANT THIS WIRE, IT CAN BE SENT BACK FOR A REFUND. I APOLOGIZE FOR THIS, BUT THAT ONE LOCATION WAS CAUSING A LOT OF PROBLEMS WITH PEOPLE AND MADE THE KIT VERY DIFFICULT TO INSTALL. WITHOUT IT , THIS IS A 15 MINUTE INSTALL WITH THE SAME RESULTS.

Rob - just wondering if you included the URL for installation instructions with the package, or do I need to PM you for them? I get my kit on Monday, so I just wanted to be prepared for when I install the kit on Tues.

That's fine by me....just skip wire 6 when you send the kit. Feel free to just throw 4 bucks in with the kit. I know the WRX kits they sell here in Edmonton are only 7 wire, however, I do not know whether they are the "same" 7 wires for an STi. When I get my kit and install it I'll go down to the dealer and see.

I'm not in any great rush to get the kit. It's minus 28 celsius today and my garagre isn't heated.

Which one was wire 6?

The one that went to block... people were removing TGV valves and breaking extensions and such so I figured it'd be best ot just leave it out. I'd rather this be a 15 minute job with good results then an hour job with good results, but broken parts, CEL, etc...
