If you get the injectors and FP, is it really necessary to upgrade the rails? For some reason I thought our rails were fine

What I have heard about the UR system is that it's not good to switch our engines over to top feed. Apparently the side feed injectors split the spray because of some structual peice so that the spray does not hit it. Switching to TF injectors makes it a cone spray which can cause problems...

Just something I had heard, take it for what you will

They are SF since they use the factory injectors... they just make the holes bigger

PMED

As for the fuel rail issue. If I went back in time, I would do them, simply because I had issues with going lean on the PE850ccs randomly. My only assumption was that I had bottlenecking or again poor tuning done by my tuner. Given the problem with UTECs people have been having, it could have been a scaling issue for all I know. For peace of mind, I'd do the fuel rails while I was in there.

Also you do not have to use the UR fuel kit for the UR turbo kit. I've seen it hit 495whp maxxing out the PE850ccs on race fuel and mid 20s psi.

I hope everybody had a VERY MERRY Christmas!

Robert~
