IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2005 Trader Rating: (1) | So after watching $45k or so of my deferred comp vanish on the stock market ($25k of that this last month) and realizing that I will have to throw a fistfull of thousand dollar bills at my last autox fiasco, I find myself looking at used sportbikes to repace my CBR600. Yes, time to hunker down and make a purchase. Still looking at the Suzuki SV650 2004 and newer.... fuel injection, plenty of torque, and with a simple intake, exhaust, R-comps, and off the shelf EM, I could be knee dragging in the mountains quite nicely...... . Should be able to locate a decent one for under $4k. Hmmmmm, the STi should be ready for a Thanksgiving getaway..... |

IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2007 Trader Rating: (3) | So i need some track wheels, but i also need to do something about these stock struts. I personally think I should get some CO's before I get wheels so I can get some 9 inch wides wheels, but my tires are shot already, and Iwould like to get some tires that might last a while and have a separate set for the track but if I get CO's I will have to get anouther set of street/track tires that don't last or perform the way I want them to. What to do what to do |

IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2007 Trader Rating: (3) | If you look you should be able to find a used cbr600rr for 4K or less. I have ridden a few of those, theyh are very nice bikes. I was looking at some triumphs lately, speed triple, and I have also been looking at Monsters. For some reason I am drawn to single swingarm bikes. |

I definitely agree, twins are wayyyyy better on the street. The powerband is way to high on most newer inline 4's to really enjoy them on the roads. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. | |
