I say we tested on a closed course for safety. That's my story.

Well, awhile back I needed to go stage 2 and was going the AP route and at the same time Bill had his UTEC that he was selling and needed an exhaust for his car. I had an extra exhaust (Genome) so we struck up a trade. The only thing is his UTEC had been tuned for his car. But since both of our cars are 2005's with similar mods we figured it would be safe. I've been happy with the tune but have always wondered things like: Is my fuel pump/regulator keeping up? Am I hitting peak boost where I should? and, Am I going to blow up my engine?

It was suggested by those that know that logging would be a way for me to answer these questions. I have no desired to change values in the tune on my own. Joe has a similar set up to mine and offered his assistance in running some logs.

Yes, I need the rehabs.

IWSTI is home for me. If you look at the beginning of this thread I starting posting here before I even had my STi. I keep my journal, load my "how to install" threads, and get a lot of info from the tech threads in IWSTI.

Plus it has avatars that show with every single post making it a superior forum.

Oh and Bill can't give me points here.

well do you have a wideband at all?

and do you have an aftermarket fuel pump?

your fuel regulator or whatever should be ok you just need to worry about your fuel pump. from what i was told.

but you would have to check with Bill about fuel pump.

i was home for 8 days & we could have rented the dyno
for an hour to do some pulls.

how about this.
the next time i come home we have a dyno day
at SoJax.

dyno rents out for $100 an hour.
usually can get 2 cars with an hour.
so mull it over..50 for 4 pulls not to bad.

It was actually quite refreshing to talk with someone politically connected that did not try to pressure us into building something.

Morning all... speech prep this afternoon for a 7:30 am speech tomorrow for the Arlington Council....

well we would have to check with Bill.
but you have to remember that all wheels have to come off.
adapters bolted on & then dynapack is slide onto a car.

usually it would take at least 15 minutes to put car on dyno
and to take off dyno. but 4 pulls takes less than 20 minutes.

yeah but if we can get enough people to go then we can have some fun and not have to rush

because i know we will have more then 4 people wanting to do that and that will take the price down under 100 buck per person

and i would like to do some tuning as well on there

Yepper, I'm putting a presentation together for our chairman (boss' boss' boss) because HIS boss wants to know more about my project.

I'm talking at a restaurant tomorrow morning. No power point this time.....20 minutes including Q/A. I can always go into a little tap dance routine if needed.
