That sounds great, plus there plenty of bar/restaurants around to go get a frosty beverage after.

I'm open to any day after 6 pm or the weekend. Some of the guys I think have a more restrictive schedules, I'll let them pick the exact time.

Default Ecutek & TurboXS TBE or AP & Cobb TBE?

I was planning on going Cobb AP, but considering that our local dealer is mod friendly when it comes to them installing TurboXS products and Ecutek tuning I am reconsidering. Has anyone done an Ecutek custom tune on their STI at the Jacksonville shop yet by Ben Yang? He seems to be a nice enough guy and I like the performance parts guy William Cook there also. Positive & negative comments please. You pm me if you would rather.....

My goal is to get a mild tune, not too loud, more HP & torque throughout the rpm range without dips or hesitation, no boost creep, no reliability sacrifice, no warrantee sacrifice.....Has to feel better than stock and show it on the dyno as well.

Thanks,

Karl

I was just there at Subaru on Friday and scheduled my install for parts for this upcoming friday.
Bill (parts manager) told me they are not doing Ecutek as of right now due to some issues, they are only doing UTEC. We also talked about Cobb some, it seems like it's an engine management system for the masses, can't see it to be that great for the engine, more I think about it more I'm leaning towards Ecutek or Utec. Seems like most high power cars are all running those two. So there is only 2 options, wait until they have Ecutek or go with Utec now. I think either way you'll be fine.

Bill, the parts manager is an moderator on nasioc. I don't really go there often, but if you're on there please post the link.

Thanks UA, I've heard that Ecutek is good but you need a good tuner. I've got time to wait and see....dang....don't even have my ride yet!!
