OK, for those that are (UA & Electron -please close your eyes):
I've never been before so I've been asking a lot of stupid questions. Here's a little bit of what I learned recently.

1. It is a spectator sport so you can bring others, just list them as part of your crew at the myautoevents.com site.
2. There is no shade. if you need shade, bring some.....and chairs too.
3. There may be limited concessions....burgers, drinks, and crap. You may want to bring your own cooler, etc.
4. Porta Crappers - this may discourage any possible spectators (so don't tell them).

If you are going to the event please do not click on the link below.

Default Anybody else seeing this?

"This event has been cancelled due to Navy Events-Sorry for the inconvenience"

I just checked the ever growing list of entries and stumbled upon the above comment....hmmmmmmm

I'm sure they have the only one in town, next closest AWD dyno Atlanta/Tampa.

Also, It does appear that the September event at Whitehouse has been cancelled. I will be attending the Monthly meeting tonight & will post what's up when I return home.

Not everyone is on the same list, but if you look on the first page of the Website: http://www.buccaneerregion.org About half way down it says Event # 10 has been cancelled. They send out the info as best they can, you found out, Right?

Default received this...

Hi Everyone,
Unfortunately, Event #10 At Whitehouse Airfield has been canceled by the Navy because of Military activity . As you know this is always a possibility and we will not be having a play day this month. At the present something else in in the works next month and I will let you know as soon as it is ready.
Thanks,
Julius Ashley
Buccaneer Region Solo2 Chairman

Self-explanitory, there will more than likely be 2 events next month, a make-up for this month, and Event #11 at Roebling Road on 10-30-05, a Sunday. If I hear anymore I'll let ya'll know.

I do agare with at least one thing from that thread:

Car is new for the aftermarket, so there bound to be some issues. Of course 16K is still a hell of a lot of money to spend on the car without good results.

It sounds like Topspeed had no problems fixing things and having it (Ese's car)produce big numbers right off the bat for Robert at Static X. XXX/XXX NEW SHOP PICS! DYNO PICS! LS1 TT RX7 Static X Motorsports, INC. 8/31/06 Pg.18

I've got a lot of respect for SS based on what I've read from him on diffferent threads but it is a shame that his work for Ese came up short....way short .

I think I would have to have something in writing....ability to hit XXX numbers or no $$.......~Karl
