Karl STi - I didnt get an exact count of how many showed up but I believe it was around 2 or 3 wrx's and 8 STi's went to Sticky Fingers. Although there were more that came to tinseltown but did not go to eat.

Wow, good number turned out! Need group T-shirts...How about "I hate NASCAR. My car turns left and right....." with a picture of an STI drifting thru a hard right corner.....

I always thought it would be really cool to have a T-shirt that says "NASCAR Sucks!" since NASCAR is practically a religion for many around these parts. Probably get beat up. Hahahaha!

You probably would get beat if you wore a shirt like that.

However I'm down with making some sort of T-Shirt. That would be cool. We can get "8 second club" shirt and wear it to Jax Raceways all the time.

I was at the meeting! New guy with the blue STI, had 2 friends with me. We drank like 4 pitchers at sticky fingers. It was a good time!

Would like to go to the track with you guys also. Is there going to be a meet before so we can ride in a pack or should we just meet up, up there.

I was up at the dealer yesterday to get my plate and an oil filter and noticed boxes of rotas being delivered. Apparently someone bought 2 sets (8) gold & now only wants 1. The seller is asking $600 which is less than what he paid??? Anyway, not really sure if this is a good deal or not but they may still be sitting there.....still in the boxes....~Karl

Karlsti - Those Rota's are mine.

I bought 2 sets, one Gray one Gold. However I'm diggin' the Gray (already on car) and am selling the Gold now...

Never mounted...and I thought I'd give Bill a chance to sell them at the dealer.

At this point I'll take 500....and I paid 700 delivered. No lugnuts or center caps due to me using the one's on the Gray wheels...

Anyway...sorry I missed the meet Thursday...Wendy had other plans for me...

Hey Phattey, you keeping your BBSs? Doubt that the gold Rotas would look right on my CGM. Anyway, sounds like a good deal and something I may need down the road when I'm not so broke. A set of track wheels will probably be on my list down the road (pun).

As for missing the meeting, apologies accepted. Just don't let it happen again.....

I was also thinking about getting a couple of beers after the track if anyone is interested. That is of course, if it doesn't rain.

UA, let me show my ignorance here. Can 1/8 mile performance be improved by using ice cold water in the IC sprayer repeatedly just prior to launch? ~Karl
