Default GTLive/Koni Challenge 2008 at VIR

Rumors and interest have been surfacing lately about this years event. Those that have been able to come the last 2 years have seen it double in size last year. 2006 was very cold and rainy and 2007 was perfect and in the 80's all weekend. Last year we had several sponsors and a nice raffle was held in addition to all of SOA's support of the event.

This year the South Central Region will be hosting the Subaru Car Corral parking area like we did last year. It will be a Subaru only parking area where Subaru owners and friends can hang out and see the latest STi accessories and a lot of other good stuff. This year we will be doing the Subaru owner drawings for the exclusive Subaru go cart hour each day on Saturday and Sunday.
This year there will be a significant event at VIR hosted by Subaru of America where people can get up close and personal with all of the Subaru driving performance vehicles . I can't give you any more details at this point, but I can tell you it will be a lot of fun for all of the participants. In early September a web site will go live with all of the details about it.
Until then, make sure to put 10/4 and 10/5 on your calendar to attend GT Live at Virginia International Raceway. Trust me, this is going to be good.

This is what I have for now. Other sponsors will soon be announced as well. Flat4VA,Flat4NC and CCSC will be assisting as they did last year.Stay tuned as I will post the info as I receive it. If you have questions about the track or the area ask me in here or by PM. Trust me when I say that the small details listed here are nothing yet.

As far as track participation, the GTLive website is now open for registration.

Any questions regarding track participation will need to be directed there to the appropriate personnel.
