IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2007 Trader Rating: (3) | VIVE subaru of santa monica... I saw a sign on soas' web site that states subaru of sm back soon. So i called SOA up and asked what the story was? They responded with ''we are trying our hardest to get subi of santa monica up and running very soon ''. Sooner the better imo. This ad is not endorsed by this member. ![]() SM Subaru sucked balls. I honestly don't know why they're trying to bring it back. Scott Marsh was a complete douche, and I've heard others say the same. The only good thing about SM Subaru was Riza (sp?) but he's been long gone. South Coast Subaru was a pretty mod-friendly dealer until Tony Mattingly took over the service dept. Long Beach has been good to me, but I never took my car there for warranty service, but I wish I had. SM Subaru had my car for over a month while I fought them and SOA to fix my transmission, which I finally got SOA to cave to. | |

IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2006 Trader Rating: (1) | i went to puente hills subaru today and tried to get my wheels/tires rotated. they said somebody torqued my lugs and wheel locks down too tight. they couldnt get off one of my wheels and even broke the wheel lock trying to do so. Santa Monica subaru was the last one to touch my wheels for a rotation. Now puente hills subaru is afraid to try to take off the rest of my wheels because a wheel stud might get broken off. SM subaru...not so good. |

| Junior STI Driver | Just called and set up an oil change for this Saturday. SOA had sent me a letter stating that S.M. Subaru was back. Unfortunately if you had your car serviced their while it was owned by Sonic you will not be able to get your normal service records as they were the property of Sonic. But, you will be able to get your warranty repair info. as that was sent to SOA. I kept all my service reports so the records issue is not that big a deal. I will be interested to see how their service department is now. |

| Junior STI Driver | Kevin is correct, the new dealership is run by Santa Monica Ford. Had my oil changed there on Saturday. Waited about 1.5 hrs for the service, which is typical. They did give my car a quick wash though, which was an added plus. The dealership is currently running on a skeleton staff and does not seem to have much inventory either. The new service writer, Dan?, seemed nice. Oil change cost $71 for full synthetic, which is around what i paid when Sonic owned it. A big plus is that the parts dept. is open till 5pm on Saturdays now. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |
