Thousand Oaks Subaru to close...

I couldn't believe it till I went to see myself ... booked my car in for it's last service next week then it's good bye Subaru of Thousand Oaks come December 31st!

Anybody know of any other decent dealership worth taking my car too now?

Subaru of sherman oaks. The service guys there do a really good job.

Rumour has it, it will be an Acura dealership ... pointless to me since there is a huge Acura dealership in Calabasas ????

I brought my car in because the alignment was a little off. Checked to make sure tire pressure was good but for the life of me I couldn't figure it out.

I don't remember who worked on my car but the tech if you would call him that, put too much air in my tires. Add to that the service advisor told me i could damage the F/R axles if it's off even a minute PSI ( as I like to have couple of notches higher than recommended ). Never taking my car there again.

Not even given so much as a receipt that they looked at my car.

I'm taking mine to Santa Monica even if it's a ***** to get there.

Thousand Oaks was okay, until last year. But they really pissed me off last visit. 1) They told me oil was low (a lie)
2) They then put dino oil, when I specifically was assured Motul 8100 would be used
3) Then they overfilled the nonsynthetic oil
4) Then they stripped two bolts on my undertray so I can't fix their mistake

Yeah good riddance they are gone.

Arik,

How often do you work? I stop by from time to time. At one point, I spoke with the sales manager about selling Subarus but we never had a chance to setup a sit down meeting. I need to bring in my subie for some work so I will be sure to stop by and meet you when I am there!

i dont really want to start flaming but, sherman oaks has one of the worst CSI scores in the region. Santa Monica Subaru just got Stellar performance for sales and service, which is the highest rating a dealer can get.
