IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2004 Trader Rating: (1) | Car is an '06 STI with StageII Cobb tune and headers/turboback. RacecompEngineering helped with just about everything else...seat/suspension/pads/lines/etc. Stock tires with 5K miles and a few other track days on them keeps me from reallyripping, as they're already blue and cooked to beyond well-done. Most of the other guys were on race-comp tires... a true testament of how well tis car does on stock tires and some suspension work. Enjoy.... Also, i notice you dont track out a lot in some areas where it looks like you could. Either way nice video! |

IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2004 Trader Rating: (1) | You are right about the track-outs and shuffle-steering. I've never been a shuffle-guy, perhaps I should try. And tracking out, well that's just me keeping some semblance of "margin for error"...another thing I need to work on. Thanks, though, I do appreciate the critique. Be good, TomK |

I was there the day after on the long double infield, great weather, all around great day out. Looks like you have an equally great day out. I just got bumped to the Blue group, my next day out is gonna be on Sat Sept 29th., I think it's on the North course if I remember correctly. You gonna be there? |

Shuffle steering is HUGE, and makes your hands work the wheel much better. That and heel toe are toe things i think everyone should know.

My next trip is Watkins in October 12/13...the Sat/Sun weekend. Saving for rotors and pads now. Be good, TomK

but really keep each had on its side of the wheel, the left hand should never be on the right side and visa versa....here is an ok article, I'll try to find something better though. http://studydriving.com/safety-on-th...ing-technique/ This ad is not endorsed by this member.
