STI on 1/8 mile

I went to the drag strip last friday, (the first time i was pulling it), and i did 9.35 sec.

My car is stock for now, and it only has the K&N drop-in filter...

is it a good time for a stock STI, or i should be able to do better eventually?
(it was a very humid evening that night, probably it didn't help at all.

Ive taken mine 1 time and I utterly sucked at take off. I got a 9.5 and a 9.45 for the 1/8.

i think stock should be around 8.9's

What was your 60' time and trap speed??

I think my 60' was like 2.5 or something...

Like I said, I utterly sucked as it was my first time and I wanted to be light on my tranny. But In my defense, I have an 07 with the throttle and hesitation issues (had them at that time anyways).

I might go to the drag strip tonight. It's a 1/8 run. My feeling is that STI's should be able to dominate these things because of superior launching ability (AWD). Anyone have any tips/tricks?

What tire pressures should I be running?
Is launch control for the AP2 working yet?

sti's can be a lot of fun at an 8th mile strip. high 7's/low 8's around 86mph with 1.6x 60ft (stg 2) are attainable. I always ran 30psi at the strip, just make sure all 4 tires are fairly equal, maybe a little bias towards the front. I'd focus the most on 60ft times, by far the most critical aspect for low et's.

I ran 8.6 stock. 8.1's on on OTS stage 2. Goin for 7.9's on a protune. Hell I ran a 9.1 with my stock 02 wrx when i had it back in 03.
