| Amateur STI Driver | Who has R compound tires mounted on 7.5 in rims and what size? How much clearance do you have with your set-up? It looks like there are 5 kumho's to choose from, but which will actually fit without rubbing? Maybe I'll need some spacers (1/4 in or less per stock class rules). I will likely be using Rota SDR's which appear to have a favorable offset and may eliminate need for spacers. Victoracer 225/45 245/45 255/40 Ecsta 225/45 235/40 Ideally I'd like to fit the 255/40 VR, but this may not fit. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2003 Trader Rating: (3) | 225/45 ECSTA's fit with Rota SDR's with TONS of tire clearance (no spacer). I am going with the 245/45's for next year. BTW, the ECSTA's tend to wear faster but grip arguably better than the Victo's. If I can afford it I might pick up some Hoosiers for regional/national events. Cause if your not on Hoosier's at those you don't stand a chance. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |
