ran it like it is. no tire pressure. no weight savings. had my girlfriend's purse in it. couple of drinks. a helmet that i didn't need to wear.

i wanted 13s so bad, but overall it was a good run, went from
14.822@90.49, 14.356@90.87, 14.524@91.13, 14.137@93.30

just to see what a stock STi can do that's all. complete stock. just silencer removed from filter.

Can you provide some additional info? Like what RPM you were lauchning, what type of type of launch, temperature, altitude, etc?? Not to flame you but I've run better times in my stock S2K. To be fair I've not run my STi yet so who knows, I could put down those numbers too. I'm hoping that's not the case however.

best run.

no temp, it was about 50ish outside.

60' : 1.811
330' : 5.645
660' : 8.900
MPH : 76.29
1000' : 11.709

1/4 : 14.137
MPH : 93.30

i agree i need more practice time for sure, launching on street is completly different from track.
i did a 5500rpm clutch slip/semi dump.

it's believe that infineon raceway goes up a little bit. so it's a slow track, sacramento has a track that goes down a little, so that's a fast rack over there.

I was under the impression that a stock STi with a good driver should run 13.6 ~ 13.8.
No offence traction_issuez, I am not saying you are not a good driver.

Hehe, be glad you came back home safe and forget about if you could do 13.9 instead of 14.1 sec.

For get the times guys. Your 1/8th mile trap speed is about 4-6 mph too low and you 1/4 mile traps are 6-8mph to low. ET's will show bad driving but trap speed for the most part should not realy matter. Something is bad wrong with that car or track. (unless you did not have the throttle to the floor or something like that. :-?

Hey Traction,

Not to be too off topic, but I noticed you were saying you just came back from Iraq and going back in April. Are you in the military and what branch? I'm a civilian working out in Fort Irwin, CA and was wondering if you are near the area. I see a silver one driving around here, but that's the only one around the area.

Back to the topic. Sorry to hear about the run. We were suppose to be doing some runs at Palmdale, but it was raining. I'll keep you all updated next time we do get the chance to run that track.
