Hey this isnt really anything to do with the new STi, but the worlds quickest Impreza! Mag's here in the usa are reporting Easy Streets WRX to be the worlds quickest wrx... cough, cough!!! its best time of 9.98@141mph makes it the 3rd!! 2nd place? Bakker Arja of New South Wales, Australia run a 9.71@148mph... 1st place? Vic Elfes from New South Wales, Australia his time? 9.40@147mph. I've written to these mags who have publish incorrect information but i have had no reply. the easy street wrx can only claim the fastest U.S and new age (bug eye shape onwards) plus... the easy street wrx engine? built by an australian who used to hold the record 2 yrs ago with a 10.02@145mph. He is building a new wrx that should take his record back... pics?

Alot off ppl argue this isnt a wrx? well John force's car is still called a mustang, and all other cars in import racing that are nothing as stock looking body as this are referred to as civics etc... I will post times it runs as soon as it makes the track.

Default 02 Civic SI vs 04 STI

eatv8: I just joined the forums and I'm from Australia. just checked the details on the Easy Street WRX and the car runs Rigoli engine internals, intercooler and Rigoli dogbox. So it's fast with good-ole Aussie know how. The C&V WRX is the fastest (outside of Japan I think), however it's based on an older model like an MY94 I think...

it is the worlds fastest! im from australia too, there isnt many drag wrx's in japan which is why it is the worlds fastest, they tend to use liberty/legacys in japan as there is more room in the engine bay. i know the easy st wrx is built by tony rigoli performance, it has his name all over it. the C&V is a older model, either 94 or 96 cant remember but however still the WORLDS FASTEST WRX!
