Does anyone have a tire pressure gauge that they are particularly happy with? I'm looking for something for auto-X that's fairly high quality and reliable.

What about digital vs analog? It seems like a mechanical gauge would be better for the long haul.

Thanks a lot.

Thanks Fatih.

I was looking at this one http://www.longacreracing.com/catalo...id=217&catid=8 on the theory that an analog gauge might be more reliable for the long haul. It looks like the dial might be large enough to discern 1/4's.

Does the valve on yours hold pressure until released?

I was having some problems with the readout on Richard's digital in Frederick, but maybe that was just from lack of sleep. Surely the start times are one of the most vexing problems of auto-X :-)

I think your choice seems to be as good as any. I chose the other because it could read 0.1 psi and the backlight It does hold press.

I have the Longacre 60 PSI guage, $29.95 at Speedware: http://www.speedwaremotorsports.com/.../tirePress.asp

Doesn't hold PSI, but the button makes releasing air a breeze (heh).
