| Junior STI Driver | Hi guys. In a month, I will be taking a Driving School in a racetrack. So, I need a helmet, SA2005. I'll like to do some trackdays after the DS.. so. What you recommend? I'm looking at the Pyrotect, G-Force and HJC. I'll like a full face. If you got any helmet of these brands, please tell me which one and you experience with it. Right now, my options are these: #1. G-Force Pro Force #2. Pyrotect Full Face #3. HJC AR10 Also, I just dont want to spend $500 for a helmet.. No more than $300.. BTW. I wear glasses... So I need some space in there. Thanks! What's important is how do they fit you. My advice after owing a couple of helmets over the last 10 years: 1. Consider going with an M05 rather than an SA05 unless SA is specifically called for by the hosts/sponsors of the events you're running. 2. Go to a local speed shot or motorcycle shop and try on helmets until you find one you like. I upgraded from an M to an SA and I much prefer my old M. The Nomex lining of the SA is not nearly as comfortable as whatever was in the M. Gary |

IWSTI Addict since: May 2006 Trader Rating: (3) | You might still be able to go to a local motorcycle shop and try on helmets until you find one you like and then see if they can order that same shell in an SA specification. If you find you have to go through mail order here's a link to a sizing chart and some other info. Bell Store Helmets For mail order you might try saferacer.com. Gary |
