Default Daddys Sport Compact Performance (daddyscp)

Hey guys,

I don't think Rich gets enough praise for the customer service and products he has introduced to the Subie community...I give him great praise and thanks for his support and products. Great communication and fantastic workmanship. I'll be needing a turboback pretty soon here and Rich, you will definately be seeing my business again!

And the critics say...Two !!!

A+++

Kind Regards,
Ryan

Default Daddysscp, my experience

well i wasn't sure where to put this but i wanted to write a few good words about Rich over @ daddyscp and what he did for me, here's the story

about 1 year ago i bought a V1 boost/EGT gauge off of Rich, they looked great and worked fine up untill now, my EGT gauge started acting all weird and my first thought was oh $%$^ EGT probe thru the turbo, well turns out that wasn't the problem as the gauge itself was bad, i called Rich up and told him what was going on, they dont build the V1's anymore but he told me he could go look in the warehouse for one, i asked what if you cant find one? he stated it'd be easier for him/me to just buy the V2ti boost/EGT to replace the existing V1's for $xxx which was an awesome price for the pair (believe me) so i went with it, these are suppose to be much better than the V1s i got them installed today and just wanted to write about how good Daddysscp's customer service is and i wanted everyone who's thinking about gauges to see this

Rich, thanks again if you see this
to everyone else if you're thinking about gauges, give Daddysscp a call

Thumbs up Re: Daddys Sport Compact Performance (daddyscp)

Rich is a customer oriented individual. I installed his Header + Uppipe and the quality is awesome. Rich kept in contact all the time to find out how the install went since I was the first STI installing his header + Upipe. A+ service and products.

I was looking into a full TBE for about 3 months with the requirements of looking close to stock, not being overly loud and being 3" all the way through. I researched all the options, listened to clips, etc. I decided on the Maddad metal V2 one piece dp and whisper cb. I ordered it after talking to some of you guys and Rich and 3 days later it was on my doorstep. It's better than I could have imagined! Fitment is 100% perfect, it's as quiet as stock on idle with a mean rumble and screams on wot. I'm loving stage II. Thanks Rich!

I appreciate the kudos gang. I will say as of the last number of months it's been a challenge keeping up to the pm's, emails, and calls in the timely manner I prefer, but one thing is always certain and that is you'll always get honest service - before, during and most importantly after the sale.

In the past 4.5 years Daddy's/MadDad has grown from a little hobby(started so I could put mods on my 2002 WRX without my wife price matching me....it was getting expensive ) into an honest full time business, but as some folks already know, it's still job # 2 for the Daddy'O. So for those of you that didn't get that email response next day or had trouble reaching me for a couple of days, don't worry, we didn't forget about you. It's inevitable during a 70 hour work week

We've got a bunch of cool new stuff in the product plans for the second half of this year. If you haven't seen the announcement on the new Ultra series gauges check out this link: MadDad(TM) 60mm Ultra Series Gauges

Our new metal substrate bellmouth will be here in a few weeks and we have a slew of new suspension bits and carbon fiber products that will be out within the next couple of months. So if you like what you've seen so far keep your eyes open because we've got an exciting lineup coming for the second half of the year.

Rich

I'm on the same boat with John! Once I saw that you guys were planning the 60mm Ultra series, I was sold! Mainly the similar sweep to the STi cluster...gotta love it! Put me on the waiting list for Boost, EGT, and Oil pressure!

I bought a Maddad Whisper exhaust and lets just say there are some major quality issues with it. From everything I've read on this forum, It looks like maybe this one piece fell through the cracks somehow. I hope Rich comes through, my initial impressions are good. I'll update here with how everything works out.

I guess I'm the only one that does not really appreciate Daddyscp. I ordered their boost/egt/oil pressure gauge combo and within 4 months my EGT gauge started acting all crazy. It either sits on the highest or lowest reading or twitches inbetween uncontrollably. So anyways the moral of the story is I call up to get it replaced and they tell me they need me to send me their broken one back so they can "investigate" and I'll get a new or refurbished one when they are ready. So basically I have to put a hole in my preturbo exhaust. (read: cant drive till "daddy" decides). I really dont have the patience/resources to do that so I'm stuck with a malfunctioning gauge. Thank you Maddad!!

Basically, their EGT gauge is a peice of crap and their customer service sucks donkey balls.

Default daddys sport compact performance

Whats goin on with daddy's. I ordered a whisper catback late friday/early saturday morning and have heard nothing from them after numerous e-mails and pms. I have heard great things about this vendor and I am in no way knocking them, but I was just curious if anybody had heard anything about them.

my bet is the exhaust is on the way...from my experience, the communication was far behind the shipping process...don't get me wrong, Rich was great to deal with and very helpful. Just be patient.

So I heard from rich today regarding the exhaust and he told me they wont have any for about 2 weeks! the last update on the website backordered list was in 2006. I figured they were in stock ready to ship. Now after not hearing back from them for 4 days almost 5, I am gettin a little nervous about this situation. I asked for a definitive date of shipment. Hopefully they can come through soon.
