Sorry SBR, from the sounds of it you guys are in damage control mode right now. I wonder if this guy hadn't started posting all over the place would you have started "working on a solution"???? I doubt it...

Damage control? Come on now, one guy not doing his job 100% is not a huge problem..I'm sure everyone here at one point in their lives could have done their job better. Serious damage control would be telling this guy sorry for his luck and moving on with life, but we are taking care of this.

FYI: We starting working on this once it was posted, not once it was posted somewhere else. He will be contacted this week.

I might not be able to post for awhile, I'm currently riding in our toter home going down to Virginia for a DSM show. If you guys are near fairfax and would like to stop by, everyone is welcome! GMU Parking Lot K, should be a ton of cars and people here.

One guy?? I had talked to at least 4 different guys from SBR!

And as far a serious damage control, I WAS told sorry we can't do anything!

I also posted on DSM tuners and my post was removed. How odd? You know the sight you advertise on!

jon1971 I think he's trying to make it right for you. You need to give him a chance.

The problem is identified and it's up to him to rectify it. So it won't happen again to another customer. He needs to plug the problem hole because I'm scared to do business with them as of right now. It's obvious not everyone in his shop is the sharpest tool in the shed. Let's hope he's not one of them.

SBR just lost me as a customer! I too am sick of shops ripping people off and then try to make it right once they get bad publicity. Thats not how shops should operate. Thats a$$ backwards! Blackterror, you said that you knowing deleted his threads on your forums because you didn't want someone bad mouthing your shop. well, then, you should have taken care of Jons' problem after you deleted his threads. Not after he posted on all the populated forums. I sure hope you clean HOUSE! Or else your HOUSE will clean you. Just look at Ford and GM.

I will help out anyone that has a problem as much as I can. I take a lot of pride in what I do and love this job and I will do what I can to get this place to grow more and more.

We will be in touch with you next week.
Well I have a question: You said you were going to need a "few more days" I mean its not the 14th....anything on what you "plan" to do?! You should by now atleast have a proposal on what you "plan" to make things better, and by doing so, fixing this issue, will gain people's respect towards your business. AKA, look what happened with the Crawford issues, I don't think you would want that, and I hope that you guys are smarter than that issue, and the way it was resolved. I mean seriously, get an answer like today or tomorrow morning, any more time and it really is ridiculous! Also, a customer shouldn't have to talk to the "right" people, its the job of the people that work for you to talk to the "right" people for the customer! I hope it works out, I know I would do anything for a customer to help them out for a bad experience, because fixing a "bad" experience goes a long way.

Sorry I didn't post yesterday but Monday's around here are crazy. I was in contact with Jon yesterday to see what he thought an acceptable solution was in this matter. He told me that we needed a good working 16G to give to his customer.

So far, a call tag has been issued to pick up his parts box that he got and we will be getting him a good working 16G.

If there are further updates, I will post them as soon as I have time.

Thank you but I don't think that praise is in order in this case.

This shouldn't have made it to this forum...

wait..

This shouldn't have made it to our forum...

wait..

This should have been taking care of with his salesman!

Trust me guys, we have some new policies in effect that hold our salesman more accountable for their mistakes. I do not want this happening again.

See thats what you need to do, good job. Something like that, or even modify the 16g for him or throw in a lil goodie to make up for the time/aggrevaton! Atleast you are fixing the issue at hand.
