OK so my little adventure is over. I ordered Ferodo brakes, SS lines and ATE fluid from them a few days after xmas. Two days later I got a package, it seemed a little small and I was right. Just got the SS lines. I was like "ok, maybe they mixed something up since it was almost new years and there was probably a lot of orders". So I PMed RCE and let me know what was going on and told me they would immediated send me the pads but the Fluid wouldn't be at RCE until friday. Two days later(wednesday) i recieve the pads, which I can't wait to put on. So friday comes along and bam, the ATE fluid is here. That impressed me that they overnighted the fluid (from MD to PA, hahahha) so I can work on my car saturday. I will definitly do business again.

Thanks RCE crew.

Because of the design of their flex section (see their site) right where the cat-back joins to the DP, stock hardware won't work. I had to make several trips to the hardware store to find some bolts, nuts and washers to combine with the stock retention springs to make it attach. In addition, it was only after my one actual phone conversation with Mike that I was told the metal doughnut in the stock DP needed to be removed in order for the 3" catback to mate up correctly. Luckily, it's not leaking (much), but this is really poor service.

I was told the hardware was packed within the box off-site and they didn't have any spares. Then I was told recently that they had the hardware and it was being sent. This was on 10/19 and it was going out USPS.

Mike - I have never liked using forums for greasing the squeaky wheel, but I just want my hardware.

Great communication and very helpful. My very first mod came from myles (RCE camber plates) and they have been fantastically useful at the track

Default Racecomp = Excellent support.

I recently had some issues with the RCE camber plates (spherical bearings) and Myles and crew quickly got the issue resolved.

This kind of customer support is becoming more rare with a lot of companies "outsourcing" their support. Myles took my phone call on a weekend on his personal cel phone and quickly answered all my questions.

Racecomp is top-notch and gets my full praises and support.

Mahalo.

Default Highly Dissapointed With RaceCompEngineering

Well I ordered some suspension parts, called on the phone talked to them. Double checked on everything and was told my stuff would all arrive within about a week, but could be an extra day or 2 depending on when it all shipped. Cool, so i get my tracking numbers (2 of them). I assume one is for the ohlins that I was told were coming from Ohlin usa and b/c the tracking number email says that, the other for the rest of the parts. So my stuff shows up however, no SPRINGS, no GROUPN top mounts. So I call them, and explain I haven't gotten a tracking number, Next I'm told for the very first time the springs are special order and take 2 weeks, so now I tell them I rather try and get them locally and meet my install date that I've requested work off for. Well they won't do it because it's a special order and it takes 2 weeks to arrive. Nobody ever told me this so I conveyed that to RCE multiple times, only to have them respond LYING, yes lying. I can say this and feel totally comfortable because I was there for it all. They were telling me not asking how Mike TOLD ME THE SPRINGS WERE SPECIAL ORDER AND TAKE 2-3 WEEKS AT THE TIME OF THE ORDER AND THEY WONT DO A REFUND OR TAKE CARE OF IT. Well let me tell you something RCE, you must be very foolish to think you can say this to me and I'm suddenly going to believe it. WELL I WAS THERE BUDDY, ON THE PHONE WHEN I ORDERED SO OBVIOUSLY YOU CAN"T FOOL ME. The fact of the matter is Mike or whoever never said a goddamn thing, and they are just trying to cover asses because they don't want to take a hit on shipping (shipping??????). Maybe YOU SHOULD IDENTIFY SPECIAL ORDER PARTS ONLINE IF YOU CAN"T HANDLE DOING SO OVER THE PHONE. Well as you may realize im pretty pist off. And thats because they basically lied to my face about what they said when its total bull****. Maybe if you weren't there during the conversation you shouldn't try and tell people who were present what was said??? HMMM SOUND LOGICAL TO ME.

ON top of this all, in the last email were they told me Mike said this and that, they also said GROUPN TOP MOUNTS were back ordered and thats why they weren't here but they were on their way to me and they would send me the tracking number.

So ....................you waited over a week until I called and harassed you to tell me they groupns were back ordered, hmmm sounds fishy looks more like you ****ed up again. And wait, it's 2 days later and you still haven't gotten back to me or sent me the tracking number. Well sweet looks like you ****ed up yet another time. Well thanks guys, you totally screwed me over, cost me couple hours of this bs on the internet, 1 day off work, and my credibility with the shop I made the ap. at.

These guys were amazing online and in the forums, so helpful and knowledgeable. Unfortunately actually selling and shipping the items they don't do so well.

Wanted to add I'm a totally honest guy, I give people the benefit on the doubt, thats why I called RCE twice about this, aim them, then pmed them to reconsider. I did everything I could to give them a chance to make things right. But NOPE

Didn't even offer accelerated shipping on the springs (once they arrive at their shop). Thats all you had to do to avoid this, was man up be honest and give a cheaper shipping, or just do or say something to show you care and aren't just blowing me off like I'm a piece of ****. Well you guys didn't want to admit fault or take care of it so this is what happens, I post a fully honest review and people see how it really works. FYI stay away from drop shipping companies that don't carry things in stock. What a joke.

Well I hope my fellow sti'ers can pray that my springs/groupns arrive sometime soon!

Very helpful with choosing the right parts, they didn't just try to sell me stuff, they helped me choose what best suited my needs at the moment.

Myles hooked me up when I traded my STI seats from my old 05 with a few bucks for RCE spings, Camber plates, and group-n tops. Love my setup.

RCE + 10000

Within the next year plan on getting there set of Tarmac 2 Coilovers. Cant wait!

After getting a lot of really good information from Myles, I ordered a set of Ohlin struts from Mike on Monday. I told Mike that it was really important to get the struts by Friday, and sure enough they got in Friday early afternoon. I want to thank both Myles and Mike for their advice and great customer service, I recommend doing any business with them that you can!

We apologize if there was some miscommunication but the Pinks are special order and are rarely in stock. I'm not exactly sure what you want us to do to make things right. I am looking at a PM right now that Myles sent you stating that if the springs do not arrive by the date that he promised you can cancel your order and be refunded. This is not something we normally do for special orders so I thought this offer was fairly generous. That date has not yet arrived. We do all that we can to make sure everyone gets their parts in a timely manner and to provide accurate estimates for arrival times but every so often an order can go wrong, be it a result of a miscommunication or a shipping problem. I don't particularly appreciate being called a liar but you are entitled to your opinion. Oh, and your Group-N's went out last week, I PMed you a tracking number earlier today.
