Andrew, thank you to you too. I didn't know there was someone else there as well.

Zab, that sucks. I hope your part arrives soon. You can always try to call Myles directly on his cell phone if you haven't done so already. He listed his number above.

So apparently they had my email address wrong. Instead of the address ending with .edu it was .ed , this is understandable except that I have emailed them from my address asking for the status of my order. I was told it would be shipped on Friday and now I hear that the warehouse was wrong and they don't have it. So now it ships out Tuesday supposedly. That is if it arrives on the new shippment. It is insane that this order went from taking five days to twenty. I would cancel the order but then I would be going through all this **** for nothing. This is my last order with Racecomp.

I guess all vendors have bad days...

This is going back a bit, but I ordered some JDM Pink springs from Racecomp in June/July of last year over the phone. I guess there was a backorder for them, so he said it was going to be 6 weeks. I was quoted a price, gave my credit card info, shipping address, etc. I called back 6 weeks later and Myles said he had no record of my order and had already sent out the stock he did receive. He said he would try to track some down for me, but I never heard back.

Then Mauro Motorsports sent me the wrong brake lines and I was 0-for-2 with IWSTI vendors. (not a big deal, I asked for Goodridge, I got StopTech - even after repeating what I wanted twice to be sure)

Ended up getting my springs locally from Gruppe-S, who were great. My lesson is: don't call vendors with your order. They'll just lose it or get it wrong.

We certainly have growing pains, and have made certain changes recently to prevent these things. Primarily to the special order JDM parts, we tell people up front 4-6 weeks no matter when its coming, so when it ships in 2 weeks, its a suprise.

As for staffing ( myself included) we have a new order process and procedure. This has prevented many miscommunications and made a huge difference. We have grown a tremendous amount and still rely on good feedback. So while I am sad to hear these things, I am glad to hear it, because it means I can try to change it. I do apologize to you guys who had bad experiences, whether it was with me or not. I know when I started I ran it by myself and I knew every customers name, now we are up to a full staff and many people do many things and that helps, but it can also allow for problems.

Thanks for the feedback.

Nothing but good things from RCE/GTWORX in my experience. I only wish they had an 800 number I could call from across the country....

I've just had a mixed experience with RCE.

I ordered Whiteline 27-29mm Front and Rear Bars, WL Heavy Duty Rear Bar mount, and KB endlinks F&R over 2 weeks ago(8/29) from Mike @ RCE.
I received the front sway bar the following Monday, so I e-mailed RCE asking about the other parts of the order. Kelly e-mailed me back (9/5) with the tracking number for the rear bar and the mount. She also informed me that she would have a tracking number for the endlinks pretty soon. Few days later, I had the rear bar and mount in my hands.

On Fri, 9/8, Kelly e-mailed to inform me that the endlinks would be shipped out Mon, 9/11 and that it would be shipped 3-day air.

So, here I am expecting to receive the endlinks and finally install the goodies this weekend before a local IWSTI meet on Sunday. I have been very patient up to this point and I didn't really have any reasons to be upset. I expected the endlinks Thu or Today(Fri) and the latest. BUT, I receive the following e-mail from RCE (no name included) 9/14.

Here I am expecting the finally portion of my order to arrive and I get this e-mail along with the tracking number telling me that the shipment will arrive Wed, 9/20. Now, I was HOT. No apologies or nothing, just a statement of facts. This was a shock and totally unexpected from RCE/GTWORX. I've had nothing but great experiences with them previously.

So, I sent them three e-mails asking them how they are going to address the issue b/c I really needed the endlinks by this weekend. So, I get an e-mail from Myles today asking me to call him on his cell phone.

I call him up and have a discussion. I explain the situation to him and how upset/disappointed I am. He was very receptive and tried to remedy the situation by offering me few other options in what he had in stock. Unfotunately, I don't have the time to visit RCE at their location due to work schdule. After few minutes of talking with Myles, I calmed down and accepted the fact that I wasn't going to be able to install the sway bars this weekend. He also told me that he would have a talk with his staff. It wasn't my intention to get anybody in trouble, but I told him that this experience was so out of character that I felt it needed to be addressed. He wanted to make sure I would come back to RCE, which I had never planned otherwise. He also advised me to talk to him directly when ordering/researching, which made me feel better.

I rambled on a bit and my apologies. But I guess I just needed someone to hold my hand after getting all worked up about this situation yesterday. Regardless, I am no longer upset and appreciate Myles for his attention and consideration in this matter. for Myles@RCE/GTWORX. He definitely knows how to take care of his customers, even one at a time.

Default Thumbs up:)

Myles and co. have been awesome to me. So I, in return, have spent alot of money there. They are always helpful and knowledgable. Oh yeah, and honest. A rarity these days. They would make lousy politicians.

I just wanted to recommend Myles and Racecomp to anyone looking for parts for their STI. I just received my RCE Race spring and could not have been happier! Sure the spring arrived a little later than anticipated, but they are well worth the wait. Once Racecomp got them they were overnighted right away!!

Again nothing but great things to say about these guys and gals!!!

Racecomp FTW!

They got my order mixed up too and I waited longer than I was told, but I guess its the price you pay for getting Myles' unparalleled expertise. I'll still order from them again., the combo I have feels great, although I'll need to get their new springs and nonlowering camber plates next.

Nahhh, there is no excuse for mistakes in this business. When I started I was by myself for 20hrs a day literally. I made no mistakes for 6 months,...it felt like, but as business grew and I added personel, and things got more hectic, we noticed everynow and then, we would screw up. Thats hard to accept when you know you can run a zero mistake ship. While mistakes happen, its not a good feeling when it does and knowing that most of our clients are racers on some level and even weekend super enthusiast, the end results of someone not having their parts bothers me. Mainly because I know what that feels like and its frustrating. So I now have all racers working for us and with that comes a universal understanding of WHY delivery times and results are so important. Thursday is always better than friday, because Friday means, if there is a problem,..you are drywall screwed !!

So no matter what expertise I may seemingly have, nothing justifies us making mistakes. Most know how to reach me, and when they do, I try to make things happen.

Thanks for the continued support from all.

^^ And, that, ladies and gentlemen, is why Myles is the king $%^$. Customer service at its best and just a great guy all around. Haven't had the pleasure of meeting him in person, but look forward to that happening sometime soon. Myles, this Bud is for you.

Thumbs down I really hate to do this, Worx tuning...

Until Mike of Worx tuning comes through, I have to advise against purchasing from them. It's been several months, at least a half dozen or more emails and phone messages, and NO hardware has arrived to connect the catback to the stock downpipe

Because of the design of their flex section (see their site) right where the cat-back joins to the DP, stock hardware won't work. I had to make several trips to the hardware store to find some bolts, nuts and washers to combine with the stock retention springs to make it attach. In addition, it was only after my one actual phone conversation with Mike that I was told the metal doughnut in the stock DP needed to be removed in order for the 3" catback to mate up correctly. Luckily, it's not leaking (much), but this is really poor service.

I was told the hardware was packed within the box off-site and they didn't have any spares. Then I was told recently that they had the hardware and it was being sent. This was on 10/19 and it was going out USPS.

Mike - I have never liked using forums for greasing the squeaky wheel, but I just want my hardware.

Default Truly awesome

I just wanted to say Thanks to Myles, Mike, and Kelly at Racecomp.

Myles really hooked us up with a super nice sponsorship deal for One Lap of America, not only that but his knowledge of suspension tuning is truly awesome. We have turned consistently faster lap times since installing the Racecomp Engineering Brake Ducts, I can now brake later and deeper into the corner and the brake ducts dramatically cut recovery times.

Thanks Myles, Mike, and Kelly
