I've received my item today. YAY for that, but no instructions and I thought they were listed on the website. Well... the website isn't working properly to get the instructions. Anybody can tell me how this goes on?

evilSTi7 - there are no outstanding orders from any IWSTi members with Static X Motorsports at this time...

Just spoke with Robert - not only is he a fantastic person, he also is quick to deal with customer issues!

Robert & the Static X family - keep up the good work!

I do not normally post in this thread as I want it to be customer feedback only, but I did want to come out and say that if anyone has any outstanding orders/questions/problems, PLEASE contact us. We would be more then willing to take care of you and offer discounts or anything you'd like to make the order right with you. We've had some substantial problems with the website (as most of you know) and having to get the shop ready has put me out of contact for a while. From our knowledge, we've shipped out every order we have listed on our catalogue software and paypal/ebay (We cannot update the software or change anything, so we did our best to get anything and everything shipped out - some I am sure we've even double shipped in order to make sure the customer got his part). I've hired a great co-worker who will be here to help me answer phones/emails at all times so that I can continue to get the shop ready for opening day and take care of any calls/emails. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us and we will take care of you as quickly as possible. Thank you and we are again sorry about any problems or concerns these previous incidents may have caused! We should be up and running 100% this week hopefully if we can get the website figured out. Thank you!!

Robert~

I have to say Rob at StaticX has been amazing. I ordered hood dampers and when i didnt receive them for a while, he looked into it for me and made sure i got them. When i got them they ended up being the steel ones instead of the carbon fiber ones i ordered, so he offered to pay for the shipping back and have the carbon fiber ones shipped to me directly from NRG. Throughout all this he answered my emails in a timely fashion and answered all my questions. He is definelty a great guy and know show to satisfy his customers. Definelty going back to him for future purchases.

He pretty much did the same for me. I ordered the cf nrg hood dampers, not knowing they were out of stock. I selected 2 day shipping. I waited for atleast a month and half, but he covered the shipping costs.

8-13-06: Ordered a StaticX pulley.
8-15-06: $129 deducted from my account.
8-16-06: Noticed that no UPS shipping verification or email has been sent
8-16-06: Called Rob at StaticX, claims that they no longer make the StaticX pulley! WTF?! Offered $20 off a Perrin Pulley- I accepted.
8-29-06: No Perrin Pulley, no UPS shipping verification or email sent by StaticX
8-30-06: I demanded a refund ASAP from Carter at StaticX. Claims order has been cancelled and I was sent an email verification that it was cancelled. Funny thing is that I didn't receive any type of email that my Checkcard will be credited the $129 that was deducted more than two weeks ago.
9-2-06: I'm an extemely patient person, and have given Rob two chances to make good on this transaction. So now I will twiddle my thumbs until Tuesday to see if my Checkcard is going to be credited. Definitely ONE of the worst online transactions I've ever had to suffer.

I am extremely sorry for your poor experience. We are still making the Static X pulley, we are just waiting on our new manufacturer to get back with us on our new shipment... this has taken longer then normal given that we have to start over from scratch again and redo the pulley. As for the rest of what you've said, we are extremely sorry and we did screw up on this. I thought I had the order already placed on day one and apparently there was a miscommunication and it never shipped out (even though we were charged). I was swamped with the dyno install and getting the shop setup and completely dropped the ball thinking everything had gone through fine. Your refund credit has indeed been processed and as soon as they put it through it will be on there. We are again sorry for this bad experience and we're doing our best to get our new batch of pulleys here ASAP to keep this from happening. Thank you for your patience and if we can be of any help in the future, please let us know as we would do anything we can to make this up to you.

Robert~

Thanks Robert for the reply- and the fact that I was patient was in part because I knew you guys were very busy. I was able to source the product elsewhere though, hence my cancellation.

I believe it's only fair to the rest of the IWSTI community to read my experience before they 'point and clicked'.
