I ordered a pully on 4/21 and my credit card was charged that same day. I have sent 3 emails, but no response. The only phone number I have for them is Fax: 256-859-4826.

Maybe I should send them a 100page fax with my order, phone number and email, that might get there attention.

Heard back from them, My exhaust has been wrapped, payed for and is set to be shoipped out. I didnt get charged a cancelation fee from my tuner afterall so everything seems to have worked out. I guess what they say is true, patience is a virtue. Thank You static X.

Weird, the only thing I ever ordered from Robert was a set of spark plugs and he was extremely quick and responsive, even for such a small order. I emailed him around midnight one night, he replied the same night, the plugs went out the next morning and were on my doorstep the following day, even though I only payed for ground shipping. Customer service doesn't get much better than that.

Anybody hear from Robert lately? I emailed him friday, and I have yet to get a response back. I know he's a busy dude, but I'm dying to install some parts!!

Nevermind, he got a hold of me.

I am starting to think the same thing.

I ordered my Cobb AP on the 18th of April. My card was charged right away and I received the generic order receipt stating that my order would ship soon. I didn't receive a single status update until I sent an email 19 days later. The first response I got stated "you should have already received your item as our dealer said he shipped it out before the backorder from Cobb happened. Let me find a tracking # for you and let you know OK." I waited 3 more days for that tracking # or a response before emailing again. No reply this time so I sent another one (5/11) and finally received this response "I am sorry if we missed your last message. I am waiting on a call back from Cobb, I will let you know as soon as they say something and will contact you in the morning either way. Thank you for your patience with us Eric! I will let you know as soon as I can." Needless to say I was never contacted in the morning, or at all, for that fact. Now they wont reply to my emails period. So maybe if I did the old 100 page fax thing they would get back with me. All I want to know is the friggin' status of my order. If they can't get it I would like to know. If I hadn't already been charged, I could have easily canceled my order and picked one up yesterday from a place that had them in stock. I can't imagine what it is going to be like to try to get a refund.

On a positive note, I can say they are very quick to accept the money.

This is my experience with Static X thus far. I know many others have had success ordering in the past. In fact I am one of them (proud owner of a set of NRG carbon fiber hood struts ). That is why I had no problem ordering form them again. However this time around is a very different story. I am generally a very patient person, but I don't like being in the dark. Thank you all for listening to my rant.

Wow. Customary practice is to not charge the card until the item ships. Charging your card before they even have the item... not so good.
