Sorry, J. Some companies just don't care about customer service anymore.

I was so close to buying an FP green Turbo yikes! I was going to order one this October but I think I will look into a different Turbo lol my car is daily driven as well and would hate to have an experience such as this so I think I will take the safe route and take my business some where else where customer service is actually a priority. Thanks for posting this.
for FP . oh yea and on the Blouch Turbo .

What's funny is 2300$ is nothing compared to the busniness they just lost from the post. But he never said he knows a lot about business, just turbos.

At least you found a stand-up company in the end.
Exactly. This type of treatment definitely makes me weary of going with companies with sub-par customer service. From now on I will be rating customer service over price.

As opposed to simply standing behind the product, which we know he does not do based on Maj's experience, the real question here is how can you MARKET a product for a particular application that YOU KNOW is inappropriate for that application based on the oil supply issue. There is a section of the UCC about fitness for a particular purpose that FP is dancing on the knife edge of. I am guessing that they assume, because the cost of litigation is so high, that the comparative loss from a turbo or two is not enough to have people sue them. Regardless, its good to get this information out there.

Edit: UCC = Uniform Commercial Code. Google it if you are interested in taking a nap.

I wonder how much money they lost cause of this now.. lol. They could of given you back your money and took the hit and still made out with all of us buying their products. Now they just got owned with no lube

Sorry for your misfortune Majin, but now I definitely will not ever buy an FP turbo for my car. You know, I can't help but laugh over how many thousands of dollars FP is going to lose in business because they wouldn't pay you $2,600. They definitely don't make good accountants over there.

i too thank you for posting this, the fp green was actually near the top of my list for turbo upgrades in the near future...i can now safely say that i will not be buying one nor advising my friends to buy one either....products fail especially high performance parts i think we all expect this, but to have the customer service worse than some shoddy ebay companies is just unbelievable
