Default Dynasty Racing

I tried to order some Motul 75W90 from Dynasty Racing. They had a pretty good price, but when I went to check out things got fishy. First they aren't setup to take orders online, so I did my order, and then I had to call to give them my credit card number. OK not too big a deal, I've had similar things happen with smaller vendors in the past. This was on June 18th.

Today is July 21st and I have not gotten anything from them. I called a couple of weeks ago to find out what happened, and all I got was some stupid girl on the phone who said that they would call me back. That never happened. So a few days later I called back again. This time they claimed that it had been drop shipped to me already. I asked for the tracking info and they said they would email it to me. I recieved no email.

Finally I called today and told them to cancel my order. They said they would do so, but I don't have much confidence that anything will actually happen. The funny thing is, they didn't even seem like they cared that I was canceling my order. There was no, "How can we make this right" or "Here take a free BOV with your order" or anything at all to not have me be the PO'd customer who will tell as many people that I can that they are awful.

They have not charged my credit card yet, but I will be watching to make sure that no charges are made.

Bottom line, I will never get anything from this vendor again and I hope that this serves as a warning to others. Avoid Dynasty Racing!!!

I'd preempt them and tell your CC that no charges form that company will be accepted.

I understand you had a bad experience, but it doesn't sound like they caused any damage except some lost time.

a free BOV for a few liters of fluid?

I've dealt with them before without issue, but maybe that was b/c it was face to face.

Hopefully things work out.

Chi is good peoples.

I've been in similar situations where a drop shipper says the same thing to their retailer that Dynasty was saying to you, which feels like you're a horse running for the carrot just out of reach.

usually b/c someone at the top of the supply chain said something was instock when it wasn't, then it trickles down (Supplier, Retailer, Customer).

still sucks you had to go through it though.

I was being facetious about the BOV part. Really I was just surprised that every time I called they really never seemed like they cared about my business. I guess my dealings with Myles have spoiled me.

I'm glad that things have gone better for you. It just annoys me when a vendor says they are going to do something and doesn't follow through. I deal with this stuff at work as well, and it just gets old. Customer service is a hot button issue with me. I'm young and I look about 10 years younger than I am. As a result sometimes I get really bad service, and it ticks me off to no end. But when I do get good service, I typically respond well with more business, bigger tips, recommendations to others, etc.

I don't disagree that customer service needs to be top notch.

Just seems harsh to scream "Avoid Dynasty Racing" b/c of something such as this.

Now if it comes back they charged you and never shipped the product I wont contest your comment.
