I picked up a Helix catted downpipe from Robert @ Static X motorsports a couple weeks back. It was a very smooth transaction all around; Robert was quick to respond to emails and provided me with tracking info before I thought to ask. I'd definitely buy from him again.

Robert helped me out big time. After my accident I needed to get a new APS FMIC and I wanted the same colors that I had which was the stealth black with the older Red piping. He found it for me and now I'm a happy STi driver again!!!

Thank to Robert's detective work.

THANKS A BUNCH

Default More thumbs up to Robert at StaticX

I know its another StaticX thread but its only proper I offer much thanks to Robert at StaticXmotorsports.com. I've sent him a gazillion emails asking for advice whether its about certain products or upgrade recommendations and I ALWAYS get a prompt and an extremely informative response. The responses are always unbiased, and that will only come from a true STi enthuisiast. It seriously is a departure from the norm and when I'm dealing with my only car and spending this much cash to make it better its nice to get this kind of help. I've gotten a K & N Typhoon (when they were impossible to get), Perrin pulley, perrin TMIC, turbo wrap and will get more from him in the future. I'll second that. Rob's helping me get a new exhaust after my car was totally stipped and vandalized. I've recently changed my mind about which setup i want, so i'm totally lost.

thanks Rob.

Get a Perrin! (). Loudest/best sounding and not many people have it either. I need to get a video up of mine so people can actually hear it. Also sits very high with a very non-ricey look.

I do need to get a good clip up. I have the twin tip. Its a very stealthy look, you just don't expect to hear what you hear from it when you look at it.

Robert is the man!!!! I have never dealt with someone as professional and that goes well out of the way to help you out! Email contact was outstanding! I even went out of the way to go pick up the exhaust just to meet him and talk about future business. Robert will be seeing all of my business in the future.

Default Static X Motorsports

Just got my new APS TBE bolted up, and I must say, I'm very pleased with the initial results. Quality and fit are very good.

My main reason for posting here though is to say a few words about Static X Motorsports. Robert is really a good guy to deal with. I've bought quite a few things on-line over the years, but rarely, I mean very rarely, have I seen this kind of service.

Robert was very patient and informative in dealing with my questions before the sale. There was never any pressure to buy. Once I decided on an exhaust, I wanted to expedite delivery so that the TBE could be used in a quickly-approaching race event. Even though Robert did not have the exhaust in stock, he went out of his way to get it to me very quickly - at no additional charge.

I also wanted a cat, and was told by another vendor that the wait would be 3-4 weeks. Well, Robert confirmed that the APS components take a while to get, but he had the cat at my door in four days. He also emailed to follow up on both deliveries.

Robert showed genuine interest in my satisfaction with the purchases, and I think that's something that sets Static X apart. Two thumbs up!
