IWSTI Addict since: Jan 2009 | hey~ Just installed my grimmspeed ewg 38 mm uppipe. I had a question though which might sound kind of stupid but, is the dump valve suppose to go off EVERY time i shift gears? I raised my boost up and it only delayed when then dump valve would go off. The dump valve sounds like a huge leak everytime i get up to a certain boost level. its really annoying. Whats wrong? |

Are you re-tuning with each "boost raise?" What is your target boost? To keep the WG closed longer you could shift earlier (so it does not need to vent) or add a stiffer spring to the WG (if it is unable to stay closed long enough to hit target boost). | |
