Default Vivid Racing=BAD, BAD, and oh, BAD

Ok, so I had my car tuned and had a Stage 2 done by Vivid Racing in Chandler, AZ....Here is the result of my experience...

PRO's - Very nice facilty
-Oh, wait, thats it!

CON's - WAY over quoted power increase, if you go to their website and look at the stage 2 details, it says power increase from stock 300BHP to 390BHP.
It doesn't say estimate power increase, it doesn't say potential, it states, this is what you would have with their package. So, after the work was done, I asked for a copy of the DYNO, I was told it would be emailed to me, I asked what was the power it was putting out after the completed work and 3 different people said they were unsure and would get me the DYNO. On top of that, they said my outer driver side CV boot was torn so I told them to order the part and let me know when they got it so I could bring the car back in to fix it. So after 2 days, I emailed them and asked for the DYNO and was told they didn't know they were going to be putting the car on the DYNO and since I didn't pay for it then I probably wouldn't get a copy. This is after I dropped over 2 grand for everything to be done. I also had a Downpipe put in separate from the stage 2 package.Never got a follow call to inform me of the CV boot or to confirm i would not get a copy of the DYNO, just nothing...

In any event, I was feeling very uneasy about this so I decided to research another company and heard a few people on this site as well as a local site talk about DYNOCOMP in Scottsdale. Wow, is the only adjective to describe this company and facility. Not only did he get me in within 24 hours, the owner Richard Garcia stayed an hour late to finish tuning my car. Now, here comes the vital info, when Richard from DynoComp put my car on before he reflashed the ECUTEK and tuned it, the car was putting out only about 326BHP!!! WTF? They said it would be putting out 390BHP. What a bunch of BS, Richard told me it was not tuned properly and he could get a lot more out of it, he reflashed it and tuned it to where it is now putting out 367BHP which is still now 390 but better than they had it. And, Richard also got me a CV boot and took care of that the following day. So, to sum all this up, DYNOCOMP in Scottsdale does a AMAZING job and for a lack of a better term, VIVIDRACING BLOWS. I wish I was exaggerating or fabricating even some of this, but its all 100% accurate. So, please stay away from VIVIDRACING in Chandler,AZ.

Its pretty well documented here that Vivid Racing/Agency Power (same company) are to be avoided like the plague. Sorry you didnt find out sooner.

Steer clear of Vivid. It is a well known fact in the STi/evo community that they are bad news. Too bad that you had to find out the hard way...

Yeah, i definitely wish I would have done a little more research before going to VIVID. I still want to compliment Richard at DYNOCOMP though, the guy is a total class act, I wish I could take all my **** back to VIVID and have it redone with his company and products...

Get them for false advertising and bait and switch. call the states attorney general as well as better business bureau. and let them know you are doing so.

I have no idea how they stay in business? Well, obviously somebody that cares has deep pockets...bad investment.

While obviously their customer service sucks, is Agency Power that bad of a product? I definitely like the way the exhaust sounds, but is it going to crap out on me in 6 months?

Thanks for all the response guys, I appreciate it greatly...
