Default Tuning numbers are fantastic from AGILE Auto

Again ... hats off to AGILE Auto. in MD. after installing a new clutch and ProTuning my '04' STi. They produced some awesome numbers for me on my last tune there. 334 WHP, 378 WTQ, 22 psi. of boost (stock VF39) and additional boost stability and power curve due to the replacement of the stock Subaru boost control solonoid with the GM version.

Awesome job !!!

What was your base run because that looks like it is probably a high reading dyno. Still, nice numbers.

that and agile dyno tunes using 4th gear, which is why we always see these incredible numbers from them.

sorry, not taking anything away from your car, op, but this kind of stuff is starting to annoy me.

Does anyone have any 1/4 mile numbers for these "crazy" Protuned stage 2s? I'm not doubting the tuning capabilities of Agile, just curious if those numbers can be backed up. 334whp and 378wtq from an 04, stock turbo, without meth or race gas or headers is pretty nuts. It doesn't seem possible considering all the other tunes we've seen. Just seems weird to see a +100whp and +140wtq from just a TBE and tune on 94.

As I said, not trying to knock Agile. I might be heading to the US sometime for a "second-opinion" Protune, so I wouldn't mind getting a great tune. I'm just curious if anyone has backed up these crazy numbers?

Dyna paks are one of the highest reading dynos as the wheels are removed from the car and hub mounted. Torque high especially. Less rotational mass. Stock rims/tires weigh like 26pounds each atleast.

Yep Neetronics. Paul is a great guy to deal with. Overall, great guys and so far a pretty reasonable tune but they've been having problems with their Clayton dyno lately; the computer crashed and they haven't full recovered yet. During my last touch up tune for my full 3" exhaust, I wasn't able to get a final dyno plot, which was a bit frustrating. Before I got my full 3" midpipe and catback, I put down 267whp and 299wtq on a very conservative tune. Once I put the remaining 3" goodies on I was getting boost spikes (not creep) so I went back for a touchup tune. Unfortunately, I didn't get my final numbers. Argh. Once their dyno is fully up and running again, I'm sure they'll let me get a free dyno run in.

I'm just curious about all these amazing tuners from the Northeast US that I keep reading about. I like to get 2nd opinions on things because it helps me learn too.

Stock tires are like 24-26lbs alone I believe. Rims are about 17lbs for a total of 41-43lbs / corner. I didn't see that it was a Dyna-Pak.

when they tuned me 2+ years ago with a catless dp and stock catback, i made 301 wtq and 290 whp on the same dyno and ran a 12.81 @106 with a 1.7xx 60 ft

I'm not so sure...also, there is not any specific relationship between dynojets and dynapaks...too many variables.
