XXTuning, East Harford, CT

I just want to give some kudos to XXTuning in East Hartford, CT. They did an excellent job on my 06 STI. In addition to the tuning, they did a full exhaust (including header and heatshield), CAI, fuel pump, boost solenoid and a methenol injection kit. I got two tunes, one for pump gas and one for the meth. All of the work was done in a little over a day and Chris even stayed until 11:00 pm to tune the car and get me out on time. I never felt like they were pushing products/upgrades at me. In fact, they steered me away from a few that would have made them money. The facility itself it top notch (nicest I have ever been in), and the peope were very friendly. I was given a complete tour and got to watch my car get tuned.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Two big thumbs up.

I have to add one more thing.

I had to bring my car back today because the meth system had a minor leak at one of the fittings. They fixed it free of charge. But this is what impressed me the most: While I was there, I metioned to Chris that the idle was a tad erratic at times. Nothing major, but I wanted to know if there was an adjustment I could make. He told me to give him 10 minutes. Next thing I know he is out at my car with his laptop. He spent 10-15 minutes adjusting it to get the idle on both of my realtime maps perfect. He them say, "Let's take it for a ride and see how everyting is." He then proceeds to fine tune my meth map for about 25 more minutes. The car runs freakin' amazingly well! I didn't think it was possible to get it to run any better but I was wrong.

We got back to the shop and he uploaded the 2 fine tuned maps to my AP, shook my hand, and sent me on my way. Total bill: $0.00

These guys are phenomenal and stand behind their work. I know no one is perfect, but I have confidence that if something didn't meet my expectations, they would do what it takes to make me happy (assuming I realistic expectations to begin with).

Again, thanks to Chris and everyone else at XXTuning. You've got a customer for life.

Just got protuned today by Chris at XX. Awesome bunch of guys and great service. Well worth the 4 hr drive.
