Jorge is awesome. I would definately recommend him to anyone wanting a Protune. His tunes are powerful and safe. The difference between the Cobb maps and Jorge's tune is night and day.

Jorge tuned my car and did an excellent job despite the heat and a few issues that I was having which have now be fixed. The tune is very smooth, and I have been pretty happy overall. The whole crew did a good job.

good to know that he's close to where I live. i asked this question because i read that some people were having issues with his tune. I guess they figured out what was wrong..

Search for the thread about the problems in his tune. Jorge spent many hours diagnosing this in a very publc setting. some tuners won't even return PM's if there is a problem.

Found it.
Who else has slight hesitation after pro-tune?

Did u any of u guys get your wastegates ported before the Protune with Jorge.I see he stated in another post that its a must in the Midwest.I planned on getting a Protune by him but I do not want P&L to work on my car if the wastegate porting is needed.

You only need the turbo ported if you want to go catless - he will try to tune you without the cat if youd like - but if you get boost creep youll have to be pulled and charged and have to come back and pay again for tuning.

I can honestly say that Jorge is a stand up guy. Every time I went in there he was great at answering all my annoying questions. I was the one that started the original thread - not meaning to open that can of worms. But in the end it was something stupid. Once figured out my car now drives fantastic.

Ill be moving back to CO (mile high) soon and Ill miss having this map!!

Oh also, try comparing his prices to other tuners - I was surprised at how inexpensive the whole thing ended up being. My tune took one hour on paper even though with the problem he ended up putting in dozens of hours.

Not doubting his work at all,also has great prices.I am just hate when other people work on my car like needing the wastegate ported.Bugs me cause I am a auto tech.

find others with STi/WRX
Find AWD Dyno and rent
Invite Jorge to the milehigh city to tune of yours and 6 of your closests buds.

i think it was an avcs issue... don't remember exactly. whatever it was, it is a thing of the past.

Just to add - it was a problem that was year specific IIRC. ie my 04 didn't have issues like the 05 or 06.
