Phil @ element tuning (www.elementtuning.com)

He helped develop the UTEC, so he knows it in and out. He is also no stranger to HUGE turbos, he has a gt35R (I'm 90% sure its the gt35R) on his monster. He also has a LOT of expierence with tuning water/alky injection.

Phil is also the type of guy that will rework any of his previous tunes (if need be) and give you ANY help via email for free. He is a really customer oriented person and i will never go to another tuner after getting a tune from him

Turbo Trix in edison, nj does it but i dont have any experience with them. I believe XX Tuning in East Hartford, CT does it as well. I've had a great experience with XX (and so have a lot of people).

XX wont tune an STI with a UTEC, he said its not worth it cause its a piggyback, but we all know that its not there for driveability, its there so when you hammer the gas it does its thing!

XXTuning sounds like a good choice. Has anyone had experience with Chris @ XXTuning?

Has anyone had a successful tuner by Dave at Metric in Long Island?

unfortunately I have had bad experiences there. I was always banging heads with john thorn at the front desk. They always wanted to do things the fast way just to get things done and take my money. Never the right way or nice way.

I figured OK it happens. The second time I was there I knew I was always going to bang heads with him there. So I am never going back.

I asked about both XXTuning and Metric. I am not really sure where John Thorn works. Please clarify if this all occured at Metric or XXTuning.

Dave?

Whats up. We spoke last friday at Metric. You were helping me get the right gaskets and bolts for my Cobb DP install.

Thanks again.
