And yes the most important thing is how it feels to me, because there are any number of ways to make a dyno plot look the way you want it to look. Once I replace my motor mounts i'm going to have to visit a drag strip and see what she can do. I've never been before, it would be nice to go with some fellow scubie owners for my first time. The lower line on the dyno plot is the protune base map incase your wondering (with my exhaust and plugs already on). As you can see jeremy and hill improved on that map quite well too. Oh and one other thing. I've seen a lot of people who go catless do the no plug fouler mod to keep the secondary O2 in check. However, they just diasbled my emissions codes in the base map. They said I won't get a CEL for the O2 sensor and I will still go through emissions just fine | |

IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | The Dynapack is in fact making a hub measurement and converting that into a wheel tq and hp reading. The true hub output on this car is well over 1150ft/lbs of torque. The tire size must be entered to get the exact diameter so that the readings will be accurate. The wheel weight is kind of moot point considering the weight isn't ever there when we dyno. We look at the gains, see how much we made and if it's right we send the car. But if you really want to look at the rotating mass then you need to weigh the internal components of the Dynapack's rotating assembly. All these parts in the hydraulic motors have a lot of mass. The motor parts, the hydraulic fluid, the hubs, and hardware for the hubs all put weight back into the cars rotating mass. The centering washers, lug nuts, and hub for one wheel weigh 16.5 pounds. With the weight of the rotating parts of the hydraulic motors we're well past the weight of a standard wheel and tire package. I’m not going to take apart my Dynapack and weigh its parts for the sake of argument but rest assured that the hydraulic components are very heavy. We have had great luck with our Dynapack. It reads right where it's supposed to, maybe even a little low. All of that said, it really doesn't matter what the exact numbers are since we all know dyno to dyno comparisons are a waste of time. You should see some variations. It's totally normal. You would likely even see the same discrepancy from Dynapack to Dynapack and Mustang Dyno to Mustang Dyno. -Hill Agile |

IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2004 Trader Rating: (0) | Note: Dyno charts and pics added! Awesome experience! Hill, Jeremy, everyone at Agile are great to work with. We added colder plugs, Cobb SF intake and Prodrive boost solenoid (EBS). Rest of car was straight Cobb 93 octane Stage II when we rolled in, Cobb downpipe & TBE. 50 ft/lb gain from 289.9 to 340.0. 75 hp gain from 253.9 to 328.5. VERY HAPPY with results! Smooth power band, peak torque raised from 3,300 RPM to 4,200 rpm. I wanted to retain low end grunt and I am good with these results. The car pulls like crazy between 4,000 - 6,000 RPM now. Peak HP RPM at 5,600 is only 200 rpm higher than before and starts incrementally climbing over baseline starting at 3,200 rpm. The car backfires less than before, AFR 13.04 compared to 13.33 baseline. The Cobb SF Intake (black powder coated with blueish filter) looks good and makes lots of new noises. Still getting used to it. Wooshy blow-off types of sounds, can hear turbo whine a lot more. The Prodrive EBS holds boost and I don't know if it's the tune or solenoid or a combination but it spools up faster (boost needle climbs much faster) and holds 19.4 lbs boost longer over the rev range. Both TQ and HP curves are much smoother than Cobb Stage II 93 octane off the shelf map. Many kudos to Hill and his team. They answered all my questions and it was a great experience! I would reccomend Agile to anyone who wants a good tune! Last edited by Sti491; 04-08-2006 at 12:07 PM. Reason: Added Dyno Charts and Ppics of EBS/Intake/Agile Shop |

Two of the lines are attached ... one to the wastegate actuater (I think) the other to the manifold. The last one is vented.... so maybe that means "bleed"? I've read about this before but forgot to ask during install. I'll post a pic of it when I'm on my other PC. Can't tell you how much fun the car is to drive now. So sooooth and partial throttle roll ons 1st- 3rd around town are just amazing. |
