Talking Riftswrx

Well, all I have to say about him is, HE IS AWESOME! I have had him tune my wrx 2 or 3 times, and my STi 3 time. All but the last time were with a UTEC. I upgraded to an AP. OH MY GOSH. the last tune I had on the STi was on a dyno, and the road tune he did on my AP, before we got crappy winter gas, was awesome + no need for a retune for winter gas

If you are in the midwest (chicago - he has also been known to travel to areas where demand is highenough), and are looking to get an ap pro tune or utec, or something else, (not including ecuteck) Jorge (riftswrx) is your man.

Ok, I'll bite on this one.

You've had a total of 6 custom tunes. Let's assume a lowball figure of $300 for each tune. That's $1800 in tuning. To me that is insanity (although very good for Jorge). Moral of the story - if any of you guys contemplate having your car (or cars) tuned several times .... ... .. . learn to do it yourself. You'll save tons of money. In this case - $1800+ in savings. That is A LOT of money. FP20G + injectors.

I should point out that in no way is this post negative toward Jorge. I've seen several of his tunes and I like how he has progressed toward a safe tune ... especially with regard to Dynamic Advance. He does a nice job given his prices/fees.
