Thumbs up TopSpeed and Doug- Big thumbs up

Doug of TopSpeed recently came down to Tampa to tune 15 cars in 3 days(5 slots per day)

I was 3rd slot of day 3. I meet Doug, he looks over my car, asks what I have done. My new mod is the SMC Alchy kit, no problem for Doug! He fires up my accessport, hooks up his equipment, and we hit the road.

He tuned for 2 1/2 hours until both he and I were happy with it. I had a chronic problem of not seeing boost in 1st gear at all. He did some configuring, told me to head back to the house we were based out of (Esemes). He changes a parameter or two, reloads the accesport, and we hit the road again. He tells me to get on it... BAM I have full boost in first..... He looked at my face and said, ok, now I am done!

I have to buy a harness to contain my excitement!

The car is night and day different (to put it in perspective, I had Cobb Stg2 OTS map and dyno'd 280 WHP on a mustang dyno before tune, just waiting to see my new results!)

Kudos to Doug, out of the 15, there was not a single complaint from ANYONE who he tuned those 3 days.

Topspeed is my tuner, and I proudly display their vinyl on my windows to show it......

Agreed on all counts. Incredible work and much props to doug. I had sh*tty gas and instead of jsut tunign to the crap that was in there we went to the store, refilled the other half the tank and got some octane booster to compensate. Now it feels better than stock boosting and the power, well 20 psi is spectacular.

If you don't mind me asking, what he charge about for the tuning? Would be nice if he came to NJ!

It was $350 for the protune (and worth every penny)

Awesome price! What mods did you have done to your car prior?

Here is what I have done:
Cobb Ap Stg 2 93 Octane Base and Realtime Map
Maddad V2 Catted Downpipe
3" Ultimate racing exhuast
Stock airbox with hacked snorkus, drop in K&N
Perrin Crank Pulley
Grounding kit (just in case it added 10 hp!)

Now- I am getting Protuned next friday and adding Meth Inj, so I will be curious to re-dyno and see the results.

The Above plot was prior to Alchy injection and protune.

Wow, the grounding kit added 10 hp?! Lots of people say it really doesn't add any power, other than making the lights not dim, and sound of the stereo sound better....hmm it would be interesting to see what your car makes after the protune!

No, the grounding kit adds nothing, it was a joke (just in case it added 10 hp)

+10,000..........

i believe itsa 3"in greenie, with internal gate, meth, and love from Doug....

superb.

simply superb.

i cannot say enough for Topspeed and Doug's efforts on my build. He kept me at ease (not an easy task) and had a flawless build done on my car (not to mention, tuning 14 other cars in THREE days!).....

this is the first time i have actually received what i was told i would recieve. Doug knows his stuff, is very helpful, and has FANTASTIC results with ANY type of trubo you want (not just stock units).

i LOOK FORWARD to his thrid visit down south.......

by far, the best tuner i have encountered, to date (have experienced quite a few, too)

take it to TOPSPEED and leave with a smile; guaranteed.....

Always good to hear about more good experiences with TS. Can't wait to have them do the "big stuff" when the time comes.

I will echo everyone else here. Doug did an outstanding job on my car. He made the whole powerband turbine smooth, gave me more power, dialed in less fuel, and kept my EGTs where they should be. Oh yeah, and he did all of this with 2 - 3 psi less boost than I was running before! The best.

Same here. I was one of the 15 Doug tuned in Tampa in the beginning of December. Night and day difference. Thanks to ESEMES for letting us meet at his place. Cant wait to bump it to the next level.
