Default 391.3 whp 385.8 wlb-ft SR55 "success" 20.5 psi peak 19.5 psi taper 93 octane

Despite being my least favorite turbo, I was impressed with this SR55 setup. No guarantees against rich stutter with the DR725 FMIC when I take it off the dyno in the morning, but it hadn't been too bad so far.

whp wtq

Here's boost:

wtq bst

we did spray the FMIC and charge pipes with room temp water before the run. AFR's were "perfect" 10.6:1 from peak tq to 5400, then smoothly up to 11.2.

Looks great Scott. I knew you had more in that thing. Is this thing welded or stock?

Scott, if you don't mind my asking, why do you say, "Despite being my least favorite turbo...?"

I think its a little late hitting... other comparable turbo's spool a bit faster, SZ55 and GT30R come to mind...

Yep, it's a little laggy. The SR55's seem to be overpriced and normally require more boost to make the same power. I was HIGHLY impressed with this one. We had a number of mid 380 whp and high 360 to 370 wlb-ft pulls, which is pretty typical for near 20 psi on these. I let the engine bay cool and made that 391 and 386... it was on normal old 93 octane.

It is an older SR55, IWG...

i like how it hits peak torque and then just instantly falls off.

edit- not saying, or even inferring that it's a software issue.

I've been trying to tell everybody this is the best bolt on turbo you can buy, and this comes from Gadiel from Big Valley, if properly tuned. I can not wait to bolt mine on.
