Hmm, I was under the impression that one of the DA tables wasn't even accessable with the AP. I'm pretty sure Tuners have to use Opensource to tune that one table.

Nice numbers!!

Nice numbers!!
For a while, ProTUNER only gave access to 3 of the DA maps but the latest version has all 4. There are also 4 primary ignition maps. The main problem is that only one of the primary ignition maps is tuneable in realtime and the ECU switched between the ignition maps readily. This means to properly tune timing, we would have to load a new map on the AP and reflash the ECU every time I wanted to make a change. As you can imagine, fine tuning in this fashion is very time consuming.

Thanks

This is great, you finally got the tune right on your car. Especially after the scare you had with whoever did the previous one.

I just got a test ROM from Cobb that has the ECU reference just the one base ignition map which is actually realtime tuneable. I'll be testing it on a couple 07's tomorrow and if everything goes well, you should start preparing for the real 109 tune

Thanks Trey!!

No I would not think it was Ed's tune either. Mainly due to the fact the he goes over the tune with a fine tooth comb before he sends you on your way and the fact that he road tunes so its 100% real world conditions, which is better than any dyno tuning. Sorry to hear about your friends car though.

Brandon
