unless the youtube video's sound is completely off, it doesn't sound anywhere close to obnoxiously loud (like my g200 did). good job.

Well, i dunno about famous and driving skills. I got lucky, what can i say.

It's ALL because of Mike's tune and the GST motorsports crew pre-race prep of my car.

They have it setup to be so user friendly, that even a mediocre driver like me could look like a Rockstar. The support i get from GST is top notch. I can't thank them enough.

Do you track, drag or autoX?

Actually I have yet to do anything like that even though I would really like to see what it runs in the 1/4 mile. The power it has now still amazes me. To watch the factory boost gauge practically bury itself is awesome lol. Its funny to because when cruising I am a very big gas mileage person and it seems to be getting better mileage now that it is tuned properly. 160 miles round trip for me to gst and the dyno pulls and taking a few friends and my dad for rides plus me enjoying the new power it still got 22 miles to the gallon woohoo lol

Shoot me a PM when you head out to Sac raceway. I'd like to see this thing in action.

I think my gas mileage got worse after the tune. Got addicted to boost, i can't seem to stay off of it.

I do get low 20s mpg if i baby her, but it's no fun.

Yeah I will do that. Are they still running wednesday night drags or has that ended? It has been so long since I have been there I do not remember what time of year it goes on.

The best part of it all was when my base numbers a 244hp 239tq went to 280.8hp and 314.6tq. Mike did an awesome job with my car.
I had almost identical gains going from Cobb's OTS Stage II map to one of Mike's maps. My car made less HP/TQ than yours (baseline), but the net gain is very comparable.

What blew my mind was the HUGE increase in midrange torque. I no longer care so much about peak HP, I love low and mid-range torque.

Sac raceway wednesday night drags season just started.

We're heading out there this coming week. Unless it rains.

You're more than welcome to come with us if you like.

Would love to see what your car can do.

Dam would love to but I have school on wednesday nights till april 16th of this year and it is through my union so they are not to nice about letting you have days off. I will check if I have any vacation days left this year that I can use. If I do I may not make it this wednesday but will try to make it to the next one. Or I just may have to do it on a saturday. Thanks for the heads up. I want to see what "I" can do haha I am sure with the tune from mike it is capable of some decent numbers.

I should be heading over to GST to get my upgrade from stage 2 sometime next week.

All these positive reviews make me happy that he is the one putting the meth kit on my car.

hey guys i was looking around for tuners since i live in stockton ca. this shop sounds awesome. i have a question though. my sti is still stock, but i plan on buying alot of mods now asap, in fact i was planning on buying a full cobb catted TBE online tomorrow. aps 70mm CAI in november, and the cobb access port in december. Now i understand that i shouldnt run the aps 70mm cai without a tune. so i looked around and found this wondeful thread. ok here is the question.

instead of buying all that stuff online, can gst motorsports get them all for me, do the installs, and tune it all right there and there?

OR

should i buy them all first, install them all myself (except the aps 70mm cai), and then take it to get a protune from mike? I have a friend who can help me install these parts no problem.

so knowing that, what do you guys recommend? oh please answer the part of whether i can just buy all from gst motorsports, that would help out alot. thanks.
