Default Innovative Tuning Stage 1 07 STi

After riding around with the tune for a fair amount of time )several months( i finaly got around to reviewing my tune.

Just like everyone else I went to Mike at inn-tune said said I WANNNNT MORE POOOOOOWWWAAAAAA!! well maybe thats just me :P. I wanted to run even more boost then cobb ots stage 1 as i seen many tuners cranking up stage 1 07's as high as 20 psi. I figured it would be safe all long as the timing and fuel were set accordingly. Mike told me straight off the bat NO i will not tune for that psi as its too much for the stock cats, they will overheat/get destroyed and cause knock. I really respect mike for not giving me want i wanted and instead steering me in the right direction. Mike road tuned the car at 17.5 psi peak boost and changed fuel and timing accordingly.

After the tune I can finaly say I am happy with my 07. All the hesitations are gone, the power feels alot more smoother, and the car is most defiantly
faster. Mike is a great tuner in both practice and theory and I recommend him to anyone that live within driving range of his shop.

haha as much as I am tempted i wont lie I want to add suspension bits before I get too much power. Though I could definatly use some more power coilovers and track time have to come first.

Yes, Mike @ Innovative Tunning is the man.
He did a Stage 2 with cat Protune/Open ECU on my 05' STi last summer. I too are very happy with it.
I am waiting for him to tweak it a little for I've added a Turbo XS TMIC since.
