Dan at MachV did a great job tuning my '04 with a UTEC. He made 5 - 6 runs on the dyno plus a final street test. He took plenty of time, was meticulous, and was gracious about answering my numerous questions.

The car was transformed -- noticeably more power, plus the car runs much smoother. This is my daily driver, so the gains in the lower RPM band are phenomenal.

Total cost, including UTEC install, was about $500. Tune-up runs, if I make additional mods (I'm seriously interested in methanol) are about $100.

Had my second tune done this past June. My first tune, over a year ago, went well and I was satisfied with the results and care Dan had taken. I had many questions and Dan seemed more than happy to answer them and from listening to him speak I would say an expert at his craft. It was very apparent that Dan had significant experience tuning the WRX and STi models. I will go there the next time I need a tune and highly recommend him as well. See the link below for results...
