On a good note this thread has already saved one member from TDC. He pm'd me and it looks like he's gonna go see the guys at XX-Tuning.

Jon tuned my car three times now, and I have nothing but good things to say about Jon... I was having trouble with my APS Inlet and he drove 80+ miles to my house to get everything running correctly. All I can say is, that Jon has been here in CA for quite some time, and he is very hard to get a hold of. I personally saw him pick up his phone atleast 20+ times from the 3 hours of work he did on my car.

Jon is an excellent tuner and so is his new tuner Mike. The problem is that Mike doesn't know how to turn a wrench and Jon isn't willing to stand behind Mike's work.

I submitted the case to them but haven't heard back. Time to hit up Mathis and Joe Brown. Judy would've been fun though because she'd be all over these guys. She's big for owning up to one's responsibilites

lol, keep us updated.

Have you tried calling/emailing them lately? Do you live close enough to drive to their shop and talk to the owner in person? Most problems can be worked out by talking//arguing with the other party (at least over the phone).

I would also make a post on NAOISC and every other popular subie forum (if you haven't already), keep it updated, and show them the bad rep your problem is giving them. Just think, you already made them lose at least $350 from one customer, a couple more and you will make them lose the money they owe you. Word of mouth means a lot in a service industry, they obviously arn't the best business men if they don't realize that....

Eric was replied to on the 19th of DEC
the contract is still being written the holiday season has been busy for TDC and we just havent had time to write it up and send to him.

He will recieve the $350 that he ORIGINALLY ASKED FOR back when this happened
The delays are unfortunate but he be compensated for it appropriately.

FWIW:
Jon hasnt been active @ tdc since april 07.

Noone was "jipped"
He didnt ask for compensation till long after ther original incident
he also agreed to take what we offered (what he asked for initially)

There was a mistake made during install
we are doing what we can to rectify the situation
and help the Op get reimbursed for what he laid out

He has also expressed interest in a retune for new mods
which we would of course do for free.

Dent Sport Garage in Norwood, MA. You will not be dissapointed. They are by far the best shop around mass and surrounding area. Their rep says it all. and for the record..... Nightmares from TDC. not hatin on them since its been a while since iwas up there, but, i wouldnt suggest it.

I too had nightmare's with TDC. Nightmares that cost me a lot of $$$$$.....
