Sorry, I answered his e-mail, I didn't realize there were others here with the same question...

Of course, we'll tune anything for $159/hour I'll tune you boat for the same $/hour

I did tell him that by the time you remove the stock turbo, weld it, and put it back in with an EWG, you really might as well upgrade the turbo... There will be gains, but they will be marginal. If you have a personal desire to set records with a stock turbo, or have a EWG sitting around, and you are creepy or unable to make enough boost, then it certainly won't hurt to go EWG, it's just that the gains are not huge...

He's not kidding about tuning anything. They had a Razor type scooter on the dyno a few months back. 1/3 HP or something.

Customer service has been an issue in the past and I know they are addressing the problem. The addition of Scott will hopefulyl allow them to tune everybody who needs or wants a tune as well as get to the phones and emails every day.

Also, they are becoming a skunkworks and look to be developing some interesting Subaru specific technologies and parts in the next few months.

It's very good over there and is only going to be getting better.

With the addition of Scott to Topspeed, customer service is going to get better period. Scott is the man and is a lot of times the front man himself. You can't go wrong with Scott or Doug. Scott tuned my car and it's currently the World's Fastest stock EJ205, stock tranny WRX. That should be enough to tell what he's capable of

Man, I bet you didn't have to try hard to convince him of that.
