500 for the first Map and 200 for each additional map ? You got to be kidding me ! Tim Bailey will throw in at least 5 maps with dyno time for no more than 500 out the door . Harman better walk on water for those kind of prices .

Every decent price I have seen was exactly that too now that I look around more, unless their dyno is super high dollar as apposed to other shops.

PIA has a AWD Mustang Dyno, talk about $ . The funny thing is Maps take about 5 minutes to come up with after they push the car to its brink . I dont understand Harman its almost painfull watch people put that much cash out for at best a good tune, not a excellent tune .

Thumbs up Re: harman motive

Dan did a great job with tuning my sti and taking care of it. We had a lot of talks before we did anything and a great guy to deal with. I will be doing more business here with him. Not to metion but my sti is located in Ky, so I shipped the car from burlington to california just so he and his team would work on it. Great job Dan.

Supply and demand? there very nice facility. Or there dyno cell. Talk about money. Harman Motive Blog » 2007» September . And there great service you can call them or email them and you get a very quick responce. If you are so worried about the price as you have posted 3 times about it why not go somewere else? Im also pretty sure EDO and gruppe-s is also in the same ballpark

Don't have much experience with Harman Motive but I called them up asking them to flash my ECUtek ecu back to stock. I was going to go accessport and have them protune me since they are local. They quoted me $120. ECUtek dealers are "supposed" to flash the ECU back to stock for free so I was told.

Called up Vishnu Performance next and they said send it in, FREE of charge. They even paid for my return postage for my ECU.

Ive posted 3 times about it because I think its crazy to charge that kind of money . I wouldnt even put them in the top 10 in the country and you can get better tunes for far less money . I think they are what is wrong with this industry . Just my 2 cents.............

For 500 you actually get 2 maps a normal pump map and a higher octane map for race gas or meth or the likes. The 200 for an another map is if you say add a turbo 5 months later harman will retune it for only 200 or if you want another map over the first two. You get 1.5hr dyno time and a quick ride around to make sure all is smooth. I dont think that is to much to spend 500.

are you sure? i paid 500 for just the pump map, and it would have been 200 more for a race map?

Never been tuned by Harman but recently purchased JDM TGV deletes from them and was very pleased with the customer service from Brett.

500 for a tune? P&L only charges 185
