Default subaru of riverside reviews

I cant believe how rude they were treating me. I called in because I have an 06 STi with a broken motor mount on the driver side. the so called manager Chris Grubbs said i had to leave the car there so the can verify that the motormount is broken and then they can order the part that takes a week to get in. and if i wanted I could pay to get a rental car. (if subaru wont pay for one) how likly is subaru gonna pay for a rental car? What pissed me off was the dudes attitude. he acted like its my fault that subaru used a plastic mount. come on i know i have a modded car but its not my fault they used cheap parts. FTP

+1 on that!

My car is there right now, my service manger Eric is great! I've had drop off service to my work (WLA) and pick up to come back to the dealer. If my car needs to stay over night, a rental car at no cost to me has always been arranged. I'm cruising around in a red Fit rental right now (the rental place wanted to upgrade me to the midsize camry, no thanks, the Fit will do)!

Ouch, my steering wheel is starting to peel on the bottom (just noticed it this week) and I was going to take my car to Subaru of Riverside, thanks for the heads up. There is one in San Bernardino, but I'm not so sure about service.

WTF!! I think I can always improve my service and I come online and see things like this!!

There is NO reason why they can not make an appt for you, as a waiter and have you in and out within the hour to verify that broken part. Subaru can pay for a rental for your warranty repair if the part is not in stock and they can put a rush delivery on it as well.

Dont get mad at him you blew him off as a retard and don't believe him when you should know the 06's have crappy mounts a good guy would order the part asap and then tell him to get it put on which takes like 1 hour because I did it myself with a jack. Improve your service you being a member of these boards should have known this would happen.

Umm...???

Given that he's in VA, I don't think that's the dealer.

thanks you thats my point exactly. i dont live in riverside. i live 45 minutes away. and for me to riverside just for you to look at it and tell me that the part is broken (when i have already taken it to a ex subaru service manager in temecula that verified the broken mount + the fact that the motor is no rubbing on the top of the hood) would be a waits of my time and gas. I understand that subaru has rules as to having things done in a certain order. but Subaru did use a cheaper part on the 06 and should be able to bend alitte and order the part first.

I was blasting the Service rep in California, not the customer . I just happen to work for a dealer in Virginia and feel that the customer wasn't taken care of.
